Generac 7kw repair
I needed a repair on on my Generator and they did send a tech out nearly a week after I had hoped. The cost for the part to repair my generator was $3.50 on my final bill. However, the actual final bill was nearly $700.00. I seems they wanted to charge $150/hr during the transportation time to my residence that was 23 miles away. They had to come twice as the $3.50 part needed to be ordered. Of course the tech did have a couple hours of time involved in the repair, but I was charged 4.5hrs of total time at $150/hr I’m in favor of paying for tech expertise but to pay $150/hr to drive your van to my residence is outrageous. When I called to inquire about the pricing issue they did adjust the bill by 1 hr which is the reason I rated them even as high as I did. THE GENERAC COMPANY NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THE OUTRAGEOUS PRICING OF THIER SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS.
