I recently purchase a generator from this company and I couldn't be more happy. They were very kind and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and made the whole process very easy for me. Also, I was referred by a friend of mine who uses them for service and loves them.

Unprofessional and rude.

The end of Oct 2011 I contacted Gen-Plus and requesed a quote to purchase, install and service a backup generator in my home. I was told due to the recent storm it would take 3 weeks for a call to schedule an appointment. After 3 weeks I sent an email asking when I would be able to schedule and was told they were backed up and someone would contact me. On Dec 2nd (a Friday) I was called and asked if I could be available for Monday the 5th. I could not and was told they would call me back when something else opened up. I received a call just before Christmas and I called back just after the holiday. I was told that the two openings they had for Christmas week were taken and they would call when they had time. Again, it would be last minute. When I explained to Katrina at Gen-Plus that I am looking to spend $6000 or more with them and could I please just schedule something even a month out, I was told they don't have a schedule. I told her to please give a message to the owner that I was unhappy with the lack of service and that I would have to look elsewhere. As I was speaking, she hung up on me. I tried to call back and it went to voice mail. Very rude, unprofessional and I would NEVER recomend this company to anyone. I'm not sure what they are so busy doing, but I can tell you it won't be installing MY generator. FYI, my brother is also going to purchase and install a similar unit and he won't be using Gen-Plus either.
