Refuses warranty work

This company is listed twice - once for sale and once for sales and service. They are listed as an authorized service provider but when I called them for service for my Generac generator still on warranty, they said they don't do warranty work. Certainly their choice on whether they do warranty work or not, but it doesn't seem right that they get the free advertising on the Generac site of being an authorized service provider if they aren't going to do the type of work for which they need to be listed as an authorized service center.
