I just bought a house in the area and the previous homeowner had used Fisher to service the 16kw Generac generator for my house.

Called Generac with issue. They suggested I call a local service place and ask them the question.Explained issue to whoever answered phone and her reply was: "we can't help you unless someone goes there."She would not even let me talk to anyone unless I placed a service call.Stupid way to get new customers.

I've had several problems with a permanently installed, propane fed, Generac generator that I purchased for my 91 year old mother and Fisher Generator Service has been instrumental in solving them.

Great Service

We have been satisfied customers for five years. What happened goes way beyond being satisfied. When Hurricane Sandy hit we lost power at 9:30 PM, and the generator would not start. We called immediately hoping to get service the next day. Mrs. Fisher tried to talk us through a manual start which did not work. She then located Mr. Fisher on another job. He arrived in an hour. He went out into the storm and fixed the problem. This is commitment, devotion and fantastic service!!!!

Enclosed is a quote from Peerless Insurance concerning any delaer who installs/repairs/ or services an automatic standby generator:"We are not a market for insured\u2019s that knowingly provide an installation, service or repair service, that has the potential to cause bodily injury or property damage to others. Working on, or servicing generators that are not installed to code would be a reason to cancel a policy. We would have to cancel a policy where the insured engages in a potentially dangerous service."

Great Service!

Very pleased with the service provied form setting the appointment to the work performed to repair our generator.It helps to have a company that knows there product.Would highly recommend this company.

Refused service

I really cannot recommend or not recommend this dealer. The only thing I can say is that if you have a generator that is close to the house, do not call this dealer as they will refuse to look at it. I made an appointment to have them come out and look at a malfunctioning 8KW generator with the thought of fixing or replacing it. One week later, right on the time agreed to, the tech showed up. He then called me out and said that if the generator was not 5 feet from the house, he would not look at it as he would have to assume the liability. So I am stuck now trying to find another service tech in a rural area.

Very helpful

My electrician installed the generator. He made an error.I called Fisher he promptly corrected the the error and arranged to replace the part with without charge.He has a contract to check the generator on a yearly basis.
