We recently had a perplexing issue with our 10 year old Generac 20kw generator.It was starting at random times, and would continue to run until manually shut down.After pursuing a few remedies found on internet forums, I realized I had to call in a pro.Although there are two large operations that do service in the local area, I decided to take a chance on Chad. I interviewed him on the phone. He has over a decade servicing generators, and was knowledgeable and personable.He arrived on schedule and proceeded to diagnose the issue. The fuses were checked and cleared, and the controller/circuit board tested fine. All connections were methodically tested until one was found to be dropping voltage. A mere $15 of coated wire later, the machine was up and running. While on site, he updated the firmware and adjusted the valves. The motor runs as smoothly as new.Labor was exceptionally reasonable for the skill set Chad brings to the job.Highly recommended!
