Poor Customer Service

This dealer did not complete installation of my 16KW Generator in time to get the extra warranty as promised. It took several calls to get this dealer to answer questions. Very unreliable customer service. Buyer Beware.

This dealer is awesome!

After Generac set up a meeting with Jones electric, Mr, Jones arrived on time to make his presentation.The installation was accomplished efficiently at the time and date promised. Jones Electric provided us with a positive level of confidence. The equipment operates as advertised. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend Jones electric.

Worst dealer of the year award

Very poor customer response & interface. I purchased a Generac Home Generator in 2018 and was promised to get a doubling of the 5 year warrant. F.D. Jones kept delaying the installation and it appears they never filed for the warranty. I have a claim for the extra warrant into Generac. Hopefully Generac will do the right thing with this "paying" customer. DO NOT use FD Jones unless you want poor service and delays.

Lousy Experience

If you do not want any heart aches do not hire this company. From day one the company lied about my installation. Although I was told in August 2018 that my generator installation would be installed in October 2018 it was not and was finally installed in Dec 2018. They always had an excuse why it could not be installed.

Miserable experience - took 13 months

This is by far the worst experience I have had with any contractor of any type in 40 years. From start to finish, it has taken 13 months to have the whole-house generator installed, electricity run,and the gas line connected. I still don't have the town's electrical permit approved as specified in the contract.

Generac should find a new dealer

Worst experience. They (Jones & Lowes) did not listen to what I wanted but what they wanted to sell me. Their first installation did not pass inspection three times. Took 10 months to finally correct everything.

No confidence in dealer

Dealer seemed great initially; responded very quickly. However, after 2 or 3 weeks, they have not responded to e-mail or phone calls. Have no confidence in this dealer. Don't know what happened!
