1st time customer and they were able to get out to look at our generator SAME DAY! Competitor for same issue couldn't schedule until 2-3 weeks out. Highly recommend. Office was great to deal with, tech was superb.

During my generator, replacement, installation ESM's Foreman chose to improve upon the existing foundation which I consider an upgrade, and and re positioned the unit, as a mater of safety, the exhaust is now facing away from the house - thank you.

After contacting ESM, they came promptly to look at my home and answered all my questions. Installation was prompt, and the men who did the install were very friendly and professional. They answered all my questions. They had everything lined up with the propane company and the electric company and so the install went smoothly and was done quite fast. I really could not be happier.

We had one dealer send out a sub-contractor to do a site review who left the estimate scribbled on a business card.ESM came out and did a thorough review of our site and our power needs, made several recommendations and took many site pictures.Patrick from ESM presented a detailed breakdown of the charges with a site map and drawings. ESM coordinated the installation with our power company (CMP) and propane supplier who was adding a 3rd tank to our house supply. The site plan was altered at the last minute and the ESM team capably addressed the wiring changes with some guidance from CMP and the installation was completed that day.

The installation of my generator went very smoothly. The coordination with the sub-contractors was efficient. All the personnel were friendly and very helpful. This includes the office as well as the installers. I would recommend them without any reservation.

Electrical Systems of Maine (ESM) just completed my installation of a Generac backup generator. Every touch point with ESM, from obtaining the estimate and proposal, coordinating the install date, to the actual install was done professionally. Day of install they showed up on time, had coordinated all the other parities (gas company, CMP and the local Code Enforcement) and got straight to work. Their staff was courteous and informative to all of my questions. Their work was neat and clean, exceeding my usual high standards. A rare occurrence today to have a company exceed your expectations, but ESM did in spades. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants an easy, professional and neat installation.

Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. My only concern is why someone didn't paint a couple of the small fittings which are already beginning to rust. Such a classy system made ugly by fittings that are already beginning to rust. Was that up to ESM (distributor/installer), Generac (Supplier), or MW Sewall (Propane connection)?

Electrical Systems of Maine did a great job with our install. Once it was installed they walked me through the different functions and operational aspects that are good to know as a home owner. When they left I had the piece of mind that my house would be powered if there was an outage and how to test the system in the event a storm was coming. In the end, they also mentioned their service capabilities, but were not pushy in any way. They just made it clear that our investment should be protected by Generac certified technicians.

All through the process of having our generator installed, I can and will say we have met some very nice, intelligent people who know their jobs and are second to none. I was looking for a whole house auto generator and wasn't sure where to start. Not knowing much about them I decided to get 2 quotes. ESM was the second quote. This company sent emails with the schedule with times, when each company would be here... contractor, CMP, inspectors ,that would occur on the day of installation along with times when the power would be off.. they were on time, friendly, professional, cleaned up. I am very pleased with the expert installation and completely satisfied overall. The generator was well tested for servicing the home and is now on Standby to run every Saturday at noon for 5 minute startup. From the time, Patrick Thibodeau arrived at the home to review requirements and provide a quote to the final installation of the equipment, Michael and I are very pleased. The piece of mind knowing our heat, refrigerator and lights, DirectV and internet are available during a power outage was great. I would from home fuill time and now I know I can continue working.

It was delivered and installed as promised despite the unseasonably bitter cold weather on the installation date. Dealer provided all required operator training. There were no surprises-- I would highly recommend this dealer.

I was very impressed with Patrick and how he looked over my wiring and electrical panel and he went over everything with me about what size generator i should get. The other competitors never looked at the inside of my panel. After the sales I wished Pat would of told me I would be dealing with Michelle and not him because things were not getting done on time. Pat and Michelle do not communicate. Once everything was set and scheduled the installation went awesome. The guys were great. They were very meticulous and they went over everything. The operation is very easy. I hope Michelle could get some help so she is not so overwhelmed. Besides that ESM did a great job.

From the office folks, the estimating technician to the installers the experience was thorough, helpful and professional. The staff completed the planning and installing with discipline and confidence. They explained each step and answered any questions that may have been left over. They made sure we understood how the system operated and what maintenance items we needed to pay attention to. Especially reminding us to keep the top locked because folks had damaged others due to recent high winds.

My house gave them a ran for their money as they ran in to some weird obstacles and pushed through to find a way to make things work. ESM installed our standby Generac generator and also fixed the woefully messed up circuit board in the house.They are all terrific workers and a pleasure to have around the house. They are polite and friendly and inspire confidence in their work. Being recently widowed and disabled ,having to move a portable generator around the house to pump cellar and run refrigerator or freezer just wasn't going to work for me. So I called ESM and had a home site appraisal and decided that day that it was what I needed. Within weeks I had site work started and from there they worked fairly quickly to get me up and ready. Such an awesome crew , very courteous , and professional. I recommend them 10 times over.

The installers were terrific, a lot of hard digging and a lot of humor. They worked virtually non stop to complete the installation. The initial run was great, they kept my wife informed of every thing that they were doing and what to check during the break in period. Can't say enough good things about these guys. Pat was great at getting back to answer all my question. The 8 hour check up went very good, one of the installers performed all the work, tested it and once again kept my wife informed as to what to expect. We had a 16kw Generac full house stand by system installed by ESM in November of 2015.A "well done" to the entire organization from the first appointment with Patrick to the installation by Jason and Derrick to the entire office and management staff ! Could not ask for better service or a better product.The set up was done professionally, and with attention to detail.Couldn't be happier with our choice and would highly recommend to anyone!

Pat from Electrical Systems of Maine came out to give us a quote and discuss our needs, then we decided to purchase the Generac 22KW unit. On December 24th Ryan and Jason set the Generac unit in place before the ground froze and on January 7th they came back out and finished the install. They were both very professional, did a wonderful job with the installation, the panel and explaining the safety and normal operation on the unit. So far we have not lost power but the unit has been doing its normal 5 minute run every Sunday. Thank you Pat, Ryan & Jason for a job well done.

ESM installed our Generac July 28, Ryan and Jason did a kick butt install, they did great on explaining the safety and the normal operation on the unit. When they were almost finished a hail storm came through taking out power , I guess mother nature wanted to test them, the Generac ran 3 hours before power was restored. So glad we invested, since then we lost power again for about a day, it ran great without a hitch. What a top notch company, thank you Pat,Ryan,Jason, and all at ESM.

Electrical Services of Maine did a fantastic job on our generator and transfer switch installation for our home last fall. Not only did they get the job done professionally and timely they alerted us on a safety issue we had going on outside at our meter disconnect service. Now when we loose power, we have it back on in less than 15 seconds and no interruption when the CMP service resumes or during grey outs.
