Fast and Professional

I am so happy that I found this company. They exceeded my expectations in their professionalism and quality of work. My generator was not working and was out of warranty. I gave them a call in the very next day, they had a service guy there who spent about an hour servicing my unit. Luckily it was only a bad ground wire.

    Very Disappointed!

I am reaching out because of the unfortunate circumstances that have occurred dealing with one of your dealers. I want to bring light to this situation so that you are aware and can make any necessary changes. I have bulleted the series of events that have taken place below.I first reached out to Generac via their website contact form in early Fall of 2020 with interest to purchase and install a home backup generator. I was interested in this because my disabled father-in-law lives with my family and I, and with his health conditions, he would face many severe challenges if our power were to go out. I immediately heard from Generac and they set him up with the ENW.ENW scheduled a visit to come out and assess my home so that they could give him a quote. He visited in the early fall of 2020.December 11, 2020 I received a follow up from Generac asking about the home assessment. I emailed them back on the same day to let them know that I never received a quote. They said they would reach out to ENW.I received an email estimate quote on December 29, 2020 with a link to approve the estimate. I approved the estimate on the same day—December 29, 2020. Please note that the estimate was dated from November, but wasn’t actually sent until the 29th of December. After the estimate was accepted in December, in the early spring, of 2021, I received a phone call from someone at ENW saying that there was a lead time on generators but that the order was in. They said that they would notify me when the generator came in.I received a phone call from ENW that they received the generator in Summer of 2021.In November, no one had yet showed up to install the generator and I had not heard anything from them so I sent an email to ENW to check in. I didn’t receive a response.I emailed ENW again on February 10, 2022 to ask where my generator is. I do want to note that in this email, I accidently put the incorrect phone number. However, they still had my email, my correct phone number, and my home address—all of which they had contacted me on or visited before. On February 11th, I got an email back from a lady in ENW’s customer care that was in all caps and had many exclamation marks. Her email said that ENW had been trying to reach me for months but there was confusion about my phone number and that this issue was my fault. However, I will mention again that they still had my email, my correct phone number, and my home address—all of which they had contacted me on or visited before and they received the accidental incorrect phone number on February 10th, which was one day prior to her response—not months like she stated. On February 11th, I responded back to her email and said that I am still ready to get my generator installed, regardless of what the issues are.On February 14th, I had not received a response so I called ENW’s office and the lady I spoke with let me know that it is somehow my fault that the generator wasn’t yet installed. She let me know that they sold it and would have to reorder. She said that they had unsuccessfully tried to reach me and had to sell it to another customer and that the communication was documented on her end. I asked if she could send the communication records to me because I also had every email and phone call date–almost all of which were initiated by me. She said she could not provide that and I asked to speak with a manager. She transferred me to a manager and I left a voicemail message. It is now February 23rd and I have yet to hear back from him or anyone. While I know that Covid-19 has wreaked havoc on the world, caused supply chain disruptions, and labor shortages, the way that I have been treated by ENW is inexcusable. I have been incredibly patient, but almost every time I received an update it was because I reached out on my own and over a year has elapsed since my initial interest email.

    Unresponsive

My initial call got an inspection for placement. Staff appeared friendly and knowledgeable. Beyond that, information was lost or ignored. A reinspect was scheduled, no call was receive to cancel and the provider never showed. Multiple calls by me to reschedule have not been returned.
