I have a Generac generator that I bought through my nephew, who worked for Generac. I had a local electrician install the generator and a local plumber do the gas piping. It would not start. The motor would crank over but it would not start running. Neither the electrician nor the plumber could figure out why. I called several Generac dealers at the top of the dealer list on the Generac website, and they would not help me because I had not bought the generator from them. I called Diverse Generator, somewhat desperate for help and over the phone, he talked me through trouble-shooting the problem, while I performed the tasks on the generator he told me to try. He told me that sometimes, a connector under the control panel can work loose during shipping or installation, and that I should reach under it and push it hard to make sure it was fully snapped into place and BINGO! That was the problem. Diverse Generator owed me nothing, but they generously helped me with my problem and asked for nothing in return. I will now always use them for any routine maintenance or other service that my generator needs.
