From the very start to the installation the process went without any surprises. Dirk's office staff is pleasant and they kept me updated on each step of the process. Dirk himself is always on time and best of all "he does what he says he is going to do". I am very happy and fully recommend Dirk to anyone that wants make this investment for piece of mind.

Outstanding professionalism and expertise!

From the initial call, Dirk and his team gave us incredible service for the purchase and installation of our whole house generator. I called the office on a Monday to ask for an estimate, and on Wednesday, he was here to look at our home, evaluate our needs, and produced an estimate that same day. Two weeks later, we had an install. Because his evaluation was very thorough, there were no surprises in the placement of the unit or the materials that would be needed to complete the job. Not only did Dirk give us the initial estimate, he also led the team on the all day installation. They worked diligently and gave care to our home and yard. Everything was clean and put back in place before they left. Besides this exceptional service, Dirk has specific knowledge about the mechanics of the product and will be doing a twice a year maintenance for us to keep the generator working. As with any major purchase, we always seek two or more estimates before proceeding with a job. Not only did Dirk give us the most reasonable estimate, but he answered all our questions with knowledge and thus, made it easy to choose his company. We are extremely happy with our choice and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a generator.

It doesn't get any better !!!!

I made the mistake of having another certified Generac dealer install my 22K full house generator. Six months of a nightmare doesn't even come close to my experience because after them taking three months just to complete the job, next came three more months of constant tech visits because it still wasn't working properly. That's when I called Generac direct and after catching them up to speed on what was happening they told me to call Dirk. Talk about finding the GOLD at the end of the rainbow !!!! It's one thing to be knowledgeable right out of the gate when your the one doing the installation from start to finish but to have to come in and clean up somebody else's mess? Dirk literally had to put the whole unit back together again because the other company left it all torn apart inside (via the excuse that they had to order parts for it). Once back together it started right up. Dirk truly excels in his profession and he treats you the way he would want to be treated himself. Five stars just aren't enough. Do yourself a favor and look no further. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

After a terrible experience with the first contractor recommend by Generac on its website for my location, I had great success with the second one

Dirk Reaume Custom Home Builders was the second vendor supplied by Generac. After a terrible experience with the first contractor- who I had to sue to get my deposit back after they abandoned the job- Dirk Reaume came out, did the free home inspection and came up with the necessary size and cost for a whole home backup. Work was done on time, as promised very professionally. Took the time estimated, coordinated with the propane company and power company to ensure smooth activation.Highly recommend this dealer and contractor.
