I've had a generac generator for apx 7 years.The install was good and i was reccomending current to all my friends and neighbors.I had an issue in 2021 that they promptly fixed. I had a full maintenance done at the time as well.I got the bill(s) and noticed that they did not replace the battery that i was told would be free after 4 maintenance services. When I called they said "it had to be 4 consecutive years of services". I disagreed. in any case after not hearing from them I wrote a letter requesting further explanation and adding a few other questions. NEVER HEARD BACK. its now 2023 and i need maintenance done so i called. I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WILL NOT SERVICE MY GENERATOR DUE TO DISAGREEMENT ON BATTERY. Not only did they owe me reply to my original letter but SOME notification to find another dealer so i would not be stuck if i had a problem. needless to say their professionalism is totaly lacking at the top level of management!!! WHEN YOU DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE GET IT (CLEARLY IN WRITING)

My Generac generator was just installed recently. It was installed with great professionalism. I feel safe knowing I have one and I know if there's any problem, Current Electric will respond quickly and efficiently. If anyone lives in Northwest Indiana, I would highly recommend Current Electric to install your generator. Recently had home generator installed, and the Employees were Excellent, Very Professional, Introduced themselves, answered any question I had during the installation. Showed me how the unit operates and explained the different Colors I will see on the Generator and cleaned the work site when they completed the installation. I would recommend Current Electric and their Employees to anyone wanting a stand by Generator

Our 2 1/2 yr old Generac stopped working during electric downtime....Current was out there in couple days and now issues are replaced mother board but 2-3 wks later stopped working again....now need new generator assembly....Current staff called Generac techs right from home site and did wonderful discussion and back and forth issues that took a firm tone with Generac...hopefully new part comes soon...still in process of this review

None of the installers needed to look at any type of instructions , the lead installer was super professional and extremely knowledgeable as were the gas pipe man & other electrician , the front office of Current electric was also very courteous & Dwayne the owner is #1,,dont hesitate to give them a call for your generator need & electrical needs , going with an authorized dealer is the way to go. Current Electric was very prompt in everything they did, from completing the estimate to the installation and training. I'm pretty handy and pretty fussy, so I watched everything they did during the installation. They did a very professional job and I am completely satisfied. I would highly recommend them to my family, friends and neighbors.

Current Electric provided professional and courteous answers to all of our questions, they arrived for installation when they said they would and completed the work in 1 day. The crew was friendly, explained the operation of the generator, cleaned up when they were finished and made sure we were satisfied before they left the job.

The company did a wonderful job. All employees very polite,neat and informative. When turning on the generator for the first time, the workers took time to explained everything about the unit to my husband and myself.

I am writing to express our deepest thanks to Current Electric! They went above and beyond to help us at Mikayla's Mission, Inc. out! We had contracted Cedar Electric in October of 2013 to install a whole generator and equipment. In May of 2014 they still had not delivered or installed the generator and equipment that Mikayla's Mission, Inc. had paid a deposit for of $4,876. We are at the final stages of litigation with them.

Thanks to everyone at Current for a fantastic job. I am a recently retired electrician. I spent a lot of time on this job watching and talking with the workers. I met a bunch of nice people and I was impressed with their skills and their knowledge. I asked if they could tuck the generator out of sight about 250\u2019 behind the house and they did just that. I can\u2019t hear it, can\u2019t see it but I can rely on it. I\u2019ve asked Current to come back and perform all the scheduled maintenance and would gladly recommend them to a friend or family member. Thanks again to all for a great job!

I highly recommend Current Electric for buying and installing a backup Generac generator. The staff was very courteous, prompt, and worked neatly and efficiently. The work was done as promised with minimal disruption to our home and routine. The entire system (36KW) was explained in detail in a way that I was able to understand. Great job!

It is not often that I have the need to write a review. I have been a satisfied Generac customer for several years. I did my homework and decided to contract with Current Electric in Michigan City. My decision above and beyond a terrific installation experience has continued to be exemplary. A day ago, on a Sunday, my practice session did not run. I left a non-emergency message and expected that I would call Current on Monday and before I could make the call the service truck and a great technician was in my driveway. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part from Generac and it will be delivered and installed tomorrow. He was able to make sure that the generator would perform should the electric shut down as it often does where we live. My experience with this dealer has been far superior to any experience I have with other contractors in the same line of work. I have referred other customers to this company and they have shared that this electrical contractor delivers what he says he will do on a timely manner. I am really happy with my Generac and with Current Electric who suggested this generator over others on the market.

We had quotes and information from at least four other dealers. We chose Current Electric because they came out to the house right away and called back ASAP. Other dealers did not respond as promised. Also the price was the best for what we needed. Matt And Alan did a really good job on our installation and, on explaining the steps and what we need to do in the future. We also like the fact they are a Elite dealer of Generac! We are very pleased.
