Colonial Generators took care of me

I purchased a home with a generator. I knew nothing about unit, I called Colonial and they came out and checked operation, performed maintenance and set me up on my phone with the generator. The service tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great company to work with.

Does not return calls for service

My generator is two years old. For the past year it has intermittently had a "Low Voltage" failure during exercise periods. Colonial has come out three times to look at it but has been unable to locate the problem I purchased a 5-year extended warranty with them when they first installed the generator. The generator failed again with the same problem two weeks ago. I have been trying for those two weeks to get a service technician to come out to look at it. Colonial does not return my calls or they tell me that they will get back to me "shortly" to schedule a technician, but they do not call me back. Tried again today, same story. Have given up on them and will now try to find another service provider.

phone no longer in service

I had a service contract with them. they were unable fix my generator and then they seem to have gone out of business.

I had a choice - I picked Colonial for my Generac 22kw

After the winter of 2017/2018 I was as fed up as anyone and I didn't want to experience a loss of power again. I knew I wanted a Generac - I interviewed 3 different installers to do the work. Colonial was responsive, was willing to work to my timeline, and coordinated with PECO and my concrete pad provider to install on schedule. The team did a quality job and was done in a single day. My wife's uncle also used them and he's completely satisfied as well. Of course this winter wasn't nearly as bad as last year, but it's a wonderful feeling knowing that I don't have to worry about outages. The Colonial team was great. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

Great Experience!

Installed 22KW Generator for my house, Very reasonable company and knowledgeable technicians. Thank you Colonial!
