Coleman Electric Company, LLC

Taken advantage of

Generac has awful customer service, doesn’t honor their warranty and Coleman Electric has no interest in supporting their customers.

Fast, efficient install!

Coleman Electric came out to inspect our needs and site conditions, delivered a quote the same day, and installed in less than two weeks later. Expert, clean installation in under 4 hours. We highly recommend them!

Excellent dealer. Highly recommend!!

Coleman Electric did an excellent job from start to finish. They walked me through every step in the selection and installation process and made sure that the Generac generator met all of of my requirements. I couldn't be more pleased with their professional service - and their friendliness. I would recommend Coleman Electric to anyone looking for a new generator.

Great Installation

The installation of my backup generator was well done. However my local fire district requires an emergency cutoff switch which Coleman electric was not able to correctly install resulting in non-approval. Coleman has stalled in returning to finish the job. Very poor followup.

What a great, professional company

This review is long overdue. After a bad wind storm this last January and again in February that left us with no power both times, we decided at last to fix this problem. Coleman Electric came out to our house and gave us a free estimate, and discussed the best plan for our needs. Within a couple of weeks they had everything ready to go. We had a 16kw generator with automatic transfer switch running off natural gas. It was a lot bigger job than I thought it would be, but these guys finished everything in about 4 hours. It would of taken me an entire weekend, and many trips to the hardware store, where they had everything in their trailer. Very highly recommended. Coleman Electric is very professional, and I'm very pleased with the results.

Excellent Service!

Coleman Electric completed a Generac installation at my residence. Throughout the process, Doug was responsive, professional and accurate. The installation is very clean, and Doug took the time to contribute to my electrical education, answering all my questions about the function of the unit. It is refreshing to experience such great service and integrity!

He did everything. Quality product at a reasonable price.

Coleman Electric was my installing dealer for a 20 KW GENERAC residential standby generator to be powered by natural gas. Doug Coleman came to my house the day after I contacted him and thoroughly inspected my proposed installation. The following day he e-mailed me a detailed design proposal and quote. After a few back-and-forth e-mails to clarify my understanding, I accepted his proposal. Because of factory delays in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Sandy it was going to take a few weeks for the generator to arrive, but Coleman kept me informed as we waited for the factory to catch up. While we waited he used the time to do some preliminary wiring and pour a concrete pad for the generator. When the generator arrived it took about a day-and-a-half for Coleman to install it, the 200 amp transfer switch and the remote display module. A few days later when the county building inspector came by to check everything, he made a favorable comment on the quality of the installation. After all was said and done, the entire project came in as promised and on budget. All I had to do was sit back and watch. You can also be assured that I have already arranged with Coleman Electric to handle all of the generator's normal preventative maintenance needs as well as any unscheduled problems that might arise. After the installation I have had Coleman Electric do other work in and around my home and it has all be done quickly and professionally. I can recommend Coleman without reservation for generator installations and any other electrical needs you might have. They do excellent work at a reasonable price and, of equal importance to me, you can trust them to do what they say they will do. At a time when contractors come and go at the whim of the economy, it has been a pleasure to work with a well-established firm that has been around for almost thirty years! What a difference working with experienced and professional tradesmen made!
