Cmd Powersystems, Inc.

Poor field maintenance

Good install, bad follow up service. Technician can for annual inspection stating the need for a new controller. Called company 5 times and no one can explain why this part is needed or if it's covered in my extended warranty. Bill is customer service stated he would review and get back to me; no call after 5 days. Several years of good after the sale service. The last 2 years have been very bad!!

Incomplete work, faulty set-up and lies

The owner sold us a lemon, and even though they originally told us everything was fine, they then said the unit was not suitable to run, took pieces so it could not operate and left us on a lurch for weeks. They apologized, said that we actually needed a new generator altogether, but then did an about face and refused to replace the generator - instead opting to replace the motor in the unit which had never been run and was allegedly brand new. Stay away from CMD at all costs. They did an inappropriate installation (transfer switch was put on the wrong way and they did not even place the generator on level ground). Check their google reviews. Working with them is a nightmare.

Excellent service

Very courteous customer service and answered all my questions and the job was done quickly perfectly and I'm very happy with this company

Great Customer Service

CMD Powersystems has installed 2 generators for me at two separate homes and I have been pleased both times with the customer service both in sales and service. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking to install a generator. I would, however, recommend that if you are considering this, to order as soon as possible as the delivery time is severely delayed due to the pandemic. Certainly no fault of CMD Powersystems, but nonetheless it is taking much longer than usual to get the generators from the manufacturer. Thanks CMD! Sheryl C.

Excellent dealer, great service!

From purchase to install, CMD PowerSystems was excellent!

Still waiting

I purchased the 10 year warranty after the generator went down this past summer. The tech "repaired" it. In Sept it went down again. It took a while to confirm they were coming to fix it. As of Nov. 18 I am still waiting for service. No idea when or if they're coming before I need it again.

CMD PERSONNEL WERE ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL

Good honest people, office employees kept us informed on the status of our generator installationand THEY DELIVERED!! Hope the service after is as great . I think it will be.

CMD Powersystems serviceman was great!

The serviceman was very knowledgeable and friendly. There was nothing left for me to have to dispose of, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend their services.

A-1 COMPANY

EXTREMELY EASY TO DO BUSINESS WITH....FROM THE INITIAL SITE VISIT, TO THE PHONE CALLS WITH THE LADIES IN THE OFFICE, TO THE DAY OF INSTALLATION..... THEY MADE ME FEEL CONFIDENT IF I HAVE ANY ISSUES DOWN THE ROAD..... "GIVE US A CALL AND WE'LL BE UP "

Excellent!!

My first contact with CMD Power Systems was with Alyssa. She took care of everything after the call. Our house was evaluated to determine the size generator we would need and the best location for the generator and transfer switch. The install crew was great and CMD took care of all the coordination with the power and gas companies. Less than a week after the install we lost power for 16 hours. The new generator worked flawlessly! Thank you CMD!!!
