Terrible Service

Good initial install, terrible service after. Finally got Dan to service our generator after lightning strike (took 4 months) and he did not replace fried wiring harness (see pic) which has now failed. Dan and his wife will simply not return calls. It is almost like they have gone out of business. Left multiple messages to Dan’s direct phone by text and with their main phone number. I do not recommend them.

Downhill

Sales cycle was smooth, install was delayed do to issues getting the unit. Had to request yearly maintenance which took over 60 days to accomplish and many follow-ups. Discovered they locked the box a month after maintenance. It's been 30 days since I contacted them to get keys / unlock the box. I've given up, getting key directly from Generac. Will be going with someone else for any future work. Oh, they never finished the painting required by HOA as part of install that was suppose to be done last summer when the weather was better.

poor business model

I set up an install and the install was weeks later then promised. I took the day off work so he could get into my house and he never showed. We were told that this would be permitted and we paid him for the permits which never was completed. Then when needed service they would not answer our call

Trouble getting service for tune up's

I have called 3 times for service only was able to talk to some one once

The information given was exactly what happened, nothing was hidden , no surprises and no “add-ons” I would highly recommend this honest hard working company.

Dealer was very Professional and hard working

Chosen Electric did everything they said they would do and in a very timely manner considering that our state was in lock down at the time we started the process. We asked for bids from a number of companies and Chosen not only was the lowest bid, but did not nickel and dime us as we when through the install. They put down a pad that none of the other companies even considered and the stability and esthetics blended in the surrounding area wonderfully. The care taken in putting in the gas and electric lines was superior to any I have seen at other site I looked at. I would highly recommend Chosen Electric to any who are looking. The office staff got back to us in timely, and when there were delays because of weather they were in contact letting us know. Thanks, Chosen Electric, for our new Generac and all your help in this endeavor.

Excellent results

I had Chosen Electric come out and install my generator. Overall, these guys did an awesome job. It took about 6 hours to complete, but everything was done up to code and they cleaned up the area when they were done. I was very impressed with the way they tackled the job. What could have been improved? Not much other than overall responsiveness via email and over the phone. I gave them a good rating here because they do get back to you but it could be a little bit faster. For my appointment time to install for instance, I was quoted a time but they showed up two hours late because their previous job ran late. This small issue does not take much away from the great overall work these guys did. I was impressed, and if you are flexible and patient, you will be happy with their work.

Very pleased with Chosen Electric. Called them out for a in house consult. Was ipressed with their knowledge and ordered the unit. Had it installed quickly. Very clean and thorough with showing the operation of the generator.
