Botched Maintenance
ChargeCo performed annual maintenance on my generator but completely botched the job. Used the wrong oil Mobil1, 10W-30W viscosity not recommended by Generac). Drained old oil into a ketchup bottle from my garbage can which can't hold 2 qts of oil which is held in the generator I had to order proper oil (Generac 5W-20) with filter. I drained out a total of 3 qts of oil so generator was overfilled by 1 qt which could damage the generator. Battery was improperly checked. I had to repeat checking each cell with my hydrometer. I don't recommend used this company for your generator needs. Generac is reviewing my complaint.
