Very Unreliable

These people are not reliable and their pricing is high. There were many problems with the install and getting service scheduled is not easy. I spend a morning waiting for them to arrive only to find out they wanted more money then originally quoted.

Ths dealer does not know what they are doing

When the tech arrived and look at the unit he state that he was not trained with this model. He charged me for a diagnosis and stated that he will return later with parts needed. The parts were changed but the generator never started. The tech stated that will probably need to change some more parts. At this rate I stated that if I change enough parts I will probably get the defective one. The tech returned four times and never had a clue as to what was wrong with the unit. He made numerous calls to his office and to Generac but the unit never started. The dealer then send me a bill for the trips that the incompetent tech could not fix, but offer them a copy of the video of my CCTV.

Astonished at unprofessionalism

I made a confirmed maintenance appointment five weeks in advance and paid for it the week before. On the date of the appointment (yesterday), no one showed up. I tried calling the office a couple of times, but there was a weird voicemail just stating the phone number. I also tried emailing, but received no response. I called the owners cell and he called me back later that evening and told me it was no longer profitable to come this far out and he wasn't going to honor my maintenance agreement that was already paid for. I asked why someone hadn't notified me five weeks ago when I first made the appointment. He just kept reiterating that it wasn't profitable to come out that far and I needed to find another company to do the maintenance. I guess it was profitable enough when he originally sold me the unit. I couldn't quite believe what he was telling me. So very unprofessional. Even though he was rude and unprofessional, I do love my Generac generator and have no regrets about purchasing it.

Very Poor Knowledge, Service and Professionalism

They were referred to me through Lowe's Fern Park. Very poor knowledge of electrical codes and Seminole requirements. I got the run around often and the personnel did not know what they were doing.

excellent dealer

My generator went out during Hurricane Irma called Central Florida Power they came out fixed generator. Replaced a controller during pouring rain. Very polite. Tech was very knowledgeable professional. After the storm CFPS was super busy, had to reschedule a follow-up which they did. Very satisfied!

Did not service generator biannually as contract stated.

Poor service and communication. Stated they did not fulfill contract agreement because "they were too busy."

This dealer is not professional

I had my appointment rescheduled 3 different times. Tech came out to repair the generator and found an issue which he repaired after about 45 minutes. That same day, coincidentally, the power went out; the generator didn't run at all. I contacted them immediately and told me it was a different issue and that i would have to pay the minimum 2 hour service call again and the new parts. I would have expected an apology and them send a tech right back out and continue working within the 2 hour minimum i had already paid for. They told be it would be another 4 weeks before they could be back out and i would have to pay the minimum service fee again. Absolutely TERRIBLE!

this dealer knows what he is doing but is very rude and yells at the customer. Also refused to come out because he wanted us to have a contract prior.

We tried serveral times to work with the dealer because we did not know of another local dealer. He was unagreeable and the worse part is that Generac recommended him to help us. We reached out in March and then again in July and prior to the approaching storm and we still need someone to service this Home generator. The one you can not take anywhere. Always check the reviews prior to getting into a service agreement.

Poor service

Paid for semiannual service. Received 1 inspection. 9 months later had not received 2nd service call and generator went up in flames the day of hurricane.

Would never call BACK

Signed up from Generac website to have a free estimate to install a new home Generator.
