Generac Performed Well

A little over 3 years ago, after experiencing an 8-hour power outage, we decide to move forward with the installation of a generator ... a whole house Generac. I solicited three estimates, and all were within $200 of one another, with Cassell Brothers being the "winner." They had several of the preferred Generac's in stock and were able to install very quickly. The installation was well coordinated, and the unit was ready to go within about 3 hours on July 21, 2021. Subsequently, the Generac "exercised" for about 5 minutes every Monday morning, and since we had only three brief outages since the installation, I was sure that I was suffering from the "Generac curse," which meant that installing a Generac would ensure that there would never be an extended power outage. I broke the "Generac curse" at about 4:30 a.m. on Friday, September 27th when Helen came to the Midlands. With Cassell Brothers providing the annual maintenance, my Generac was ready to go and performed extremely well, continuously running for the next 4 days. Unlike many others, we lost nothing from our refrigerators and freezers, and life in the house went on as usual ... without skipping a beat! Since then, I have recommended Cassell Brothers and Generac to several friends who have told me that, "I'll never go through an outage like Helene, again!" We'll see if that actually happens, but if they do select Cassell Brothers and Generac as we did, they'll have peace of mind in the future.

Worthwhile Investment

Being on a well means we lose water when we lose power. This is such a worthwhile investment! Cassell Brothers has been great to work with!

Contacted for generator installation

Was given an absolute BS answer, was told whole house entrance drop would have to be rewired, found this to be not true and if they didnt do the rewiring job they wernt interested in the job!!! WHOLE conversation was total ripoff BS. DO NOT recommend them to do any kind of work at all if they have this caliber of employees!!!
