Didn't finish the job or put generator back together
I took my XT8500EFI in for the 50 hour valve adjustment on a Friday, they said it'd be ready my Tuesday. Called on Wednesday they said they'd forgotten to get to it but would right away. Called the next Monday and they said they broke the valve cover gasket so had to order one. Called on Friday and was told they had ordered the part but had no way of knowing when it'd arrive (bashing Generac's parts department). The following Friday I got pushy and was told to come and get my generator because they were no longer working on Generac products! Not only did they not finish the valve adjustment, they told me I'd have to go and buy a gasket and finish the job myself! When I went there the guy in the service area said the boss had decided he didn't want to work on Generac products anymore so there was nothing they could do ... I'm sooooo frustrated and angry I had to write a review ... just don't ever use Cascade Garden Equip!
