Horrible experience

Just purchased a RS5500 for my sister's home. It would not start after putting gas/oil in it. One of your staff recommended taking it Capital Repair as it was under warranty and sometimes in shipping things get out of adjustment. No cost to us. Were told that there would be a $50 deposit and a 5 week turnaround. Ask if we had it with us and then said he had just put his two guys on something else and really did not want to pull them off and we should take it back to where purchased. We did that and exchanged generators. However, left Capital with distinct impression that they did not want to work on it. I can tell you that we will never take anything there again. Should have read a customer review before going there.

Avoid this dealer

I tried to bring my generator in for service and was told I either needed to leave it there for an entire week (which I cannot do as it's an integral part of my daily business operation) or pay an $80 surcharge to get same-day turnaround. When I asked if I could make an appointment, even if it was a week out, they refused. Terrible business model.
