Power outages

We live in an area that is prone to power outages for several reasons. Having lived in our house for almost thirty years, we decided to look into a Generac generator. We had it installed and it was one of the best investments we've made. We've had the equipment for a little over a year, and it has automatically started eight times and maintained power to the house for over thirteen hours. It has been wonderful to not having to sit in a cold house for hours doing nothing but listening to a portable radio. It's eerie to look down the street at night with no lights but ours. Again, one of the best investments we've made.

I've had my generator for a couple of years. I find it very reliable as I am on oxygen 24 hours a day and cannot do without the electricity to run the generator. If the electricity goes out at night, I don't even know there was a problem until the next day. Capitol Control has experienced maintenance and office people that are always helpful. Thank You

Do not use them!!!!

We bought a BRAND NEW 50k generac from capital Control and when the power went out for the Davis Fire it never started due to low coolant and whatever other reasons that they were negligent in installing. We had never used it and it only had 5 hours from their testing and its self testing. We lost all our food and our house smelt like raw fish due to the fridge going bad. We asked simply for a food reimbursement and Capital Control since we lost all of our food when we paid for a new generator that never worked. They refused and said sometimes the generac works and sometimes it doesn’t. Why would anyone by a brand new generator if it might work and might not. I highly recommend you go with another company that backs up their work and puts the consumer first. I would never own a company and feel ok with not being responsible for reimbursing for loss from my product just simply NEVER WORKING.

Could not have been better

On time, great workmanship by installers. This was a pro install team, no problems and on time. Very happy with my purchase.
