Call at your own risk...bothered and unpleasant

We did not have the company come out to do an estimate simply because the staff who initially answered their phones to schedule appointment seemed ill-tempered, impatient and bothered...and we called twice, also in the morning when you should be energetic, friendly and ready to get business done! Lots of chaos in background and call transferred multiple times...not friendly and audible sighs as if bothered. I can only imagine having generator service issues and having to call this office. If they are this gruff when attempting to get your business, I can only imagine what they're like when they have your money. Much more pleasant experiences with all three of the other dealers that we have called. The electricians may be amazing...but overall phone service not good, and the people taking those initial phone calls are making first impressions that speak volumes.

After 2 failures within 8 days tried to schedule a service appointment.was told that they were very busy and was going to have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. still waiting

Look elsewhere

With Budget Electric, you are not the customer, they are the customer and you should be privileged to have them service your Generac generator. By that I mean, they don't not give you at least an approximate time they will trounce through your yard and they want you pay up front for a service that they haven't performed. Their service cost has increased as well and when I asked why it increased, the weak response I received was, "Everyone else's prices have gone up so ours are too." I'd recommend finding somebody else .

NO Show on Appointment

I waited for more than an hour for the representative to arrive only to them call and say that they on the way. If this is how they treat a sales appointment how are they going to be on service.

Very small company-poor follow up when you have a problem. d

Salesman evaluated my needs and sold me a unity that turned out to be undersized for our needs. Our power went out twice since we purchased this unit and BOTH times it started and stalled out. Panel showed overloaded, stall. When I called for help from this company for help I was told it would be two days before they would be able to come and help us. I pleaded with them to come out ASAP as we have three freezer and two refrigerators full of food that we use for feeding to homeless. That didn't seem to matter to them. They told me they were a very small company and that I should try and call a larger company. I have asked to them come out and help me upgrade this system to provide the power we need, but they don't even return my calls. I called Corporate for Generac and their customer service is even worse. They don't provide services, only the product. You have to deal thru one of their independent installers.

Tried to get an estimate

I tried to get an estimate for a generator from this company. They weren't very good with communication and very unfriendly on the phone when I asked for clarification on arrival time. I got their name and number from a friend who had used them to install a generator a couple years ago. Something has changed at this business because they didn't care for my business. They were happy to remove me from their database.

From the Owners, secretary and the numerous workers that installed our entire House Generator were superb in every area. They are professional, they explain and respond to any question and/or issue with poise and intelligence. They leave the area inside and outside the home, spotless.
