Brighten Electric LLC

Very poor Service

I had a relatively minor issue with my generator. It worked fine but was having difficulty starting unattended. I reached out to this company. What a mistake. Numerous unanswered calls. Eventually he came out and the nearly laughable saga that ensued is too long to write in this review. Bottom line my generator was out of commission for 6 months. It only got fixed when I was so frustrated I called Generac themselves to get some guidance on how I could get this fixed. Generac contacted the dealer and it was fixed the next week. Not sure what pressure they put on him but at least it worked. Bottom line my generator works now but I will never contact this organization again for service. Nice enough guy when I talked with him on the phone, but clearly fixing Generac's is not his expertise. Oh and after all that frustration I still get a bill from them for nearly 1/4 of what a brand new generator would have cost me. What a horrible experience I had. They might be fine for just changing oil, filters, and spark plugs but actual repair does not appear to be a core competency.

Excellent company

Installation was very professional. Two years later I call for maintenance, they come out within two days and do an excellent job. Totally recommend this company.

Very poor product support

Multiple attempts to local dealer (answering machine) to set up mechanical service are not returned .
