Our Generator saved our Christmas!

We were fortunate to find Bob and his team after being without power for 10 days in 2012. It was a difficult install because of the area of the power and the gas. Bob was able to engineer a solution that worked great, but was definitely more work for he and his crew. Since the generator install in 2013 we have not had another significant outage till this week. Christmas week! I heard the generator come on just after a very loud noise out back. The wind had snapped a pine in half and it broke the high powered lines out back. It was 7 degrees and very high winds and my generator was able to keep my house warm, my fridge cold, and I was actually able to cook Christmas dinner. We were so thankful to be able to stay in our home for the holidays and not have to leave. Yesterday I started becoming worried about the generator since it was on day 5 of keeping my whole house running in below freezing temps and I reached out to Bob. He was over at my house in 20 minutes just to make sure it was sustaining the load ok. He added a little oil and said its good to go. We are fortunate to have power restored now and I am beyond thankful to Bob and his crew for selling me a great product and being there when we need them. 100% recommended!!

VERY pleased from start to finish!

We talked about buying a Generac generator because my husband has medical conditions that require the use of several pieces of equipment. Our neighborhood frequently loses power and it became more difficult to relocate to a hotel when the power was lost. My husband "interviewed" several companies but was most impressed with Jon, the representative from Bob Garrett Services. My husband had major surgery in August that put our plans on the fast tract. Working with Bob Garrett and the gas company went smoothly but getting the town staff required more verbal and written communication. However, with our persistence and the assistance of Bob Garrett, our Generac generator was installed on Tuesday December 13 before we lost power on Friday December 16. Bob Garrett came to our home to personally oversee the final connection to the generator. We highly recommend Bob Garrett Services and his team. They are professional in their work and offer the best customer service.

Only wants to do whole house systems

The GENERAC website lists them as a dealer, but they don\u2019t do portable generators or install manual transfer switches. Only services the high dollar customers.

Not only was the installation great, their annual maintenance has also been excellent. Very timely, professional, and convenient for our family.

Bob Garrett installed a whole-house generator for me in 2014 in very unusual and trying circumstances. My wife was in the final stages of breast cancer and under hospice care. She was not able to walk. We were fearful that a power failure would be devastating. (We had experienced power failures of several days each over the previous two years, so this was a real possibility.) Bob came in after another contractor proposed a plan that was not practical. Bob solved the design problem, worked with the City, and got us going very quickly. I would not hesitate to give Bob the very highest recommendation. I have referred him to several of my friends over the last six years. I am now selling the house, and the generator is a good selling point.

The whole Bob Garrett team, from Bob himself to the office staff and the techs that came out to do the work were great. They communicated well, were timely in both their email responses and installation activities and were very friendly. The technical installation team was very helpful and worked with me to ensure the installation of the generator switches fit within the physical footprint of my breaker boxes.
