A dealer with no idea about how to run a business!

This dealer provided an estimate for a generator WITHOUT a generator! No mistake. The labor charges exceeded any estimate for a complete installation. Their rationale for not providing a generator in a generator estimate.....weren\u2019t sure you wanted a price to include the generator. Why would I want or expect an estimate without a generator. Then I get an estimate to provide the generator. The cost of the generator was nearly twice the MSRP. Price gouging or do they want to force prospective clients to other dealers. Generac should really remove them from their approved list. Not doing Gererac any favors as it relates to reputation.

Experience could have been better

Experience could have been better. At almost every phase of the project we ran into problems. We failed inspection 4 times for absolutely ridiculous contractor miscues. On the positive side their 2 installers were excellent even though some of their work caused inspection failure it wasn\u2019t their fault it was due to the main office\u2019s failure to share with them the wiring diagram filled for the permit. After all the inspection failures Best did make attempts to remedy the situation. My installation may have been the exception to the rule. Best swore that the other 40 installs going simultaneously went exceptionally well. In conclusion I have a functioning unit. Not without 30 days of aggravation and personal time trying to get all parties on the same page. Would I give them another chance.....maybe.
