Ben was great about keeping us informed and up to date as we waited for our generator (due to covid/supply chain issues). He took time to explain to us what we were getting and how it was going to work before the installation ever started. For the install, he was very accommodating to last minute changes we requested and worked early and late to ensure we were without power for the shortest time possible which was much appreciated. I couldn't ask for any better service than we received from Ben.

Completely Satisfied

I'd been thinking about a standby generator for years. The political climate being what it is coupled with scuttlebutt about possible food shortages led me to stock up my freezers, which led me back to thinking about a generator. I filled out an inquiry form on Generac's website and Ben called me on a Saturday and spent 15 minutes or so talking about some of the reasons why people want generators and what different sized generators could do and he was even willing to discuss ballpark costs.

Completely Satisfied

I used Ben's Gens in House Springs, MO (I live in Ballwin--about 25 miles west of downtown St. Louis) and was "assigned" Ben's Gens after filling out an inquiry form on the Generac site. Ben called me on a Saturday and spent probably 20 minutes talking in some detail about the function, installation process, location process and, importantly, cost. He answered many questions and set up a consult for 7:00 am, for which I was appreciative. He explained the considerations for selecting the right generator and different power management options. Once I decided to do it, Ben set realistic expectations for timing of generator arrival, the process for setting it, permits, electric and gas work. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it, showed it to me after and explained the purpose. Policed his work areas very well. Responsive to both text and email, but honestly he simply set expectations and met or exceeded them, which minimized the need for follow up communication. When it was done we put it through its paces and he made sure I was comfortable with running the test cycle and how to power it up and/or run on generator power. As the title says--from first call to post-install clean up I was completely satisfied.

BensGens has been a great experience. Ben came out to figure out best option for generator size and explained all options. He worked around my work schedule and supplier demands and got it installed perfectly. Had a couple of small issues afterwards and he willingly came back out and resolved them quickly. Overall, an entirely satisfactory job done!
