Ben King & Son LLC

Refuses service because of original owner

Called BK to inquire about servicing a generator I recently inherited. BK was friendly enough on the phone. BK responded in under 12 hours. BK called me between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM ET and informed me he wouldn’t touch my generator, because of who the previous owner was. While the previous owner is deceased, their relationship lives on, and BK refuses to service my generator.

I recommend

Provided excellent installation and related coordination with CMP power company

Excellent Service!

We worked with Brian of Ben King & Son Electric. He was outstanding to work with. Very patient with my many questions, always timely with response and provided thorough answers each time. He offered the appropriate guidance and advice towards choosing the right generator for our home. He was prompt in delivery and setup! We highly recommend them - we won't work with anyone else now! We have never been so excited to lose power. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Can't recommend them enough.

Couldn’t ask for a better company

Great company always felt like i was the most important customer. Becky in the office was very professional and friendly and the prices were VERY reasonable

Great people and very conscientious

They installed my 11KW in my home in Vassalboro in a very timely and professional manner. Brian answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with the install before he left. He came back out when I had a minor problem several months later and fixed the problem with even charging me. I am very happy over all and would use this company again.

Fast Professional Sales, Instalation & Service!

Ben King & Son Electric! You won't find a better company to buy a stand by generator from. Tim in Sales was very helpful in choosing the right size model for my needs. Then they called me to let me know that the unit had arrived one day and were installing it on the next, Unbelievable... Thank You Brian, Tim & Becky I love my new Generac Guardian Generator!!!

Everything you could want in a contractor!

I loved working with Brian King of Ben King and Son! From my first meeting Brian was cordial, patient, and helpful. I had trouble deciding between 2 models but my decision was made easier by Brian's low pressure manner and willingness to wait while still accepting my contract. After answering several more questions I finally decided on a model that was right for me. When it came time for the install, Brian was on-time and very fast. The first visit was to wire up my garage and main panel to accept the generator. While he was here, he also took on another side job I had for him really making my day. The next visit he brought out the generator and connected it up electrically. My fuel company would do the gas side of the install. Unfortunately, Brian and I would have to wait many weeks before we could resume. With bad weather approaching and my gas connections finally made Brian came straight out to complete the installation, and just in time! Brian had told me that a bad storm was coming and that there would be widespread outages. Maine was hit with its first major storm of 2016 and our power went out along with almost 100,000 others. We had lost our power in the middle of the night, but I was completely unaware of it. Everything was normal in our household when I woke up the next morning. Our new generator had done its job, and so had Brian. - Thanks Brian!! Denise Palermo, ME

very happy

The crew at Ben King King and son were great to deal with from start to finish. As widowed and just moving here from another state. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get generator installed or serviced.
