The technician, Jacob, was punctual, polite and thorough. He took the time to explain, in layman's terms, the problem and how to fix it. He also suggested a few things that I could do to help my unit run more efficiently. He was an absolutely professional and I recommend this company in this technician to anyone who has problems with a generator

After deciding to purchase a Generac for my home I got several bids. Bates was the second to come out but the first to submit a bid. One didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my call.They started when they said and finished when they said in a friendly and timely manner. I have limited mobile ability and Jacob the installer made sure I knew of each step he was working on. He even emailed me pictures of his work as he completed it so I could see it. One week later my Generac kicked in with a power outage. Boy did I smile. It was such a pleasure to have this company do my sales and installation I will not hesitate to hire them do any future projects I may have in the future.

Arrogant

\u2022\tA adjacent review summarizes this dealer nicely \u2013 it operates like car dealers did 20 years ago. Once you have your generator installed and the warranty expires, you become a maintenance cash cow to them. They sell generators, installation and service\u2026while what people like me want is reliable, emergency power. There is a difference. Having to call these people out 2-3 times a year to keep my generator going doesn\u2019t make sense to me, but presently I have no choice. Sooner or later, somebody will do to them what Toyota did to Detroit. In the meantime, I bite my tongue and wait.

They were the best in terms of response and price on initial contact.I watched it all every step of the way and the were very competent and professional. Theresa was really on the ball at setting everything up and communicated clearly and on a timely basis as to what was going on.Jacob explained everything they were doing, why and how things would work.They were first class from start to finish.PS I have a summer house in Canada with three generators so have some experience.

Bates called to confirm the appointment set through Generac and said 2 things:We can't make the appointment Generac set and can you confirm you are willing to spend between $x and $xx? Figures mentioned were double what is shown on Generac's own site.

Excellent Service

Bates responded within minutes of my online inquiry to service my generator. The service coordinator explained their pricing structure and what services and parts were included. The technician was personable and professional. He explained what he was going to do and answered my questions before he started. Overall, Bates offered great service for a great product!
