Would'nt recommend

Install of my system went well, But end user information on system operation was never provided. Yearly maintenance was very costly, no report or explanation on condition of system every provided. Talked with another dealer recommended by Generac they explained operation of system and provided information not made available by this company.

Excellent from beginning to end.

Everyone was extremely prompt and professional. From the office personnel to the installation crew. The temperature the morning of the installation date was 3 degrees above zero. They arrived at 9:00 AM (the scheduled time) and proceeded to work as if it was 70 degrees until the job was complete. They were finished about 3:00 PM, including the installation of a whole house surge protector. I would recommend them to anyone.

This dealer is reliable!

Dowdy Electric has installed a new Generac Standby Generator about 4 months ago. Even though the unit hasn't been tested out during extended power outage, however, the workmanship was very professional. Would recommend this company for anyone interested in similar type of installation.

Great Job Dowdy Electric

David Reynolds headed the 2 man crew that did the installation. It required a good deal of hand digging, about 35', and the plummer was not able to get here as expected. David found another plummer to make the gas connections and the young man who did most of the digging did so without anyone knowing he had been here. Both men were very professional and informative. I have already called David with questions and he responded in a timely manner. I'm glad we had Dowdy Electric install our generator. Thanks!

Wow !

I called this company because my Generac failed to start properly and the company that installed it is not authorized to work on Generac. From the minute I called in until the Tech showed up, it was the best experience I have ever had. The Tech was able to diagnose the issue promptly and then make repair, and then pointed out several Code issues that the sloppy original installer had done. I should have called Dowdy in the first place, again proving that "You get what you pay for". Five stars !out of five.

Outstanding installation and service!

Everything about the generator installation was perfect! Everything that was installed is perfectly level, straight, neat, etc. A very obvious attention to detail by the installation crew was very much appreciated. The routine service I"ve received since the initial installation has been just as well done. I would highly recommend this company.
