Had a problem with an overcrank on Sunday. Contacted JP by text on Sunday morning. He responded immediately and asked if I needed him to come out on Sunday. Said "No put me in the schedule." On Monday morning heard a snowstorm was coming to Annapolis Maryland Monday night. By Monday afternoon repair had been made. Matt who did the service was competent and professional. Would recommend you call them first.

Above and beyond service

Bailey and Shipp came out to troubleshoot some problems I was having with a diesel standby generator that came with a house I recently purchased and to perform routine maintenance. Matt really impressed me with his knowledge of my (obscure) system, his patience in explaining things and answering my questions, as well as his overall customer service. He really went out of his way to ensure I felt comfortable with the repairs, understood how the system operated, and that the whole process was easy for me. He even came by one evening after the work was done to walk me through everything one more time. I'll call this one above-and-beyond.

Bailey & Shipp and Lowes did great!

We had our generator installed from Lowes, but they use a Generac dealer by the name of Bailey & Shipp Electric. JP (Bailey & Shipp) and Aaron (Lowes) came out to give us an estimate and really gave us more then enough information for us to make an informed decision. After obtaining 3 other estimates, we decided to go with Lowes (and Bailey & Shipp) for the installation. We chose them because we felt the most comfortable with them and the price was very competitive. During the installation process, Bailey & Shipp was very professional and courteous. We were very satisfied with everything that was completed and would 100% recommend them!!!

Jonathan Shipp and his team installed a whole house generator through their Lowes contract to my house. Everything seems to be working (will know when we truly get a power outage). They were extremely polite, accommodating, and thorough with their work. Although one day their was a scheduling mix-up, Jonathan rescheduled and completely accommodated my busy schedule . He took all of the time that I needed to thoroughly understand the system and answer my questions and handled all of my house's unique electrical situations with zero problems. I would clearly recommend him to anyone.

I contacted Bailey & Shipp for information concerning possibly purchasing a Generator for our home. Jonathan Shipp (JP) responded immediately to my request and did a very detailed study on what our energy needs would be and very clearly described what options we had.

Excellent Installation!

I got 3 estimates to install the generator and all were pretty close. I chose Bailey & Shipp to do the installation because JP sent more time explaining the installation and checking my home and electrical system needs. He was willing to do the install customized to my needs and not just do it the easiest for them. I wanted the generator on the opposite side of the house from the electrical panels because of the lot shape, existing propane tank, and not to be too close to my neighbor's widow. This required running cabling across the house in the finished basement. They did an excellent job installing the generator and the complete installation was great. I was really happy with how professional all the electricians were and how much care they took on the interior installation.
