Generac Referral

I called Generac on 2/18 and was informed that Ari-Tex would be calling me to schedule an appointment. it is now 3/22, no email, phone call, or text has been received. I called Generac and am being told the referral was passed on to Ari-Tex. I run an IT business from my home and need standby power for my servers and equipment. Maybe this sale is not important to them?

Find someone else

Contacted them for service twice and heard nothing back. After the third time they told me they could not get there for over a month, and recommended companies in the Fort Worth area. We live in Plano. They seemed rather perturbed that we had bothered to call a third time.

Stay away from this company

Their representative came to my home at 10:00am 3/18/14, assessed my property for a generator installation, indicated that there would be no significant problems, and stated that they would have a proposal back to me soon. On 4/8/14, 7:21am, I sent them an email inquiry wondering when I would be receiving a proposal. I received a response from them at 8:47am stating that they would not be able to do an installation due to City of Frisco setback requirements. I checked with the City of Frisco and confirmed that their would be no setback issues. I replied to Ari-Tex at 10:00am on 4/8/14 outlining my findings and that is where it ended. No reply at all. Sound of crickets. This is not the type of company that I would recommend from a customer service standpoint. How will they respond to warranty issues? How will they respond when your system shuts down and you need help?
