The dealer is non responsive to service calls
I own a generac 17 kw generator .I was having a problem would not start . My wife and I went to the Arace store in Kingston NY. The fellow behind the counter was very nice. He said he would have his service man contact us next day. We have been waiting so far about 5 month and he still hasn't called us . Every Generac rep I called on your contact list could not come for weeks they were just too busy. That's unacceptable for our requirements . I have flooding in my basement . We have back up pumps. If our generator has a problem I need help asap.. In the mean time we found a fellow who just graduated from the Generac repairmen school last year. He was at our house in minutes ! That's what we need. If we lose power our cellar will flood and quickly. If our generator has a problem I cannot wait two weeks or even one week for a service man !!! We really like are Generac Generator we just need prompt service. We're buying another one soon for our son.
