Had a new Generac installed yesterday and can’t say enough about the professionalism and courtesy exhibited by the entire crew. These guys know what they are doing and do a clean, neat job. The office staff kept us informed about delivery and installation and were always courteous. In this day and age we were pleased to have Apcom as our sales and installation pros.

This dealer is awful after you purchased

Poor customer services. After installation the city inspector found things wrong. They came back out, dug up our yard again, put an additional box on our house leaving holes in the mortar. Sent pictures to the owner who said she would get back to us. Never called. Ignored our emails and calls. Failed to fix the mortar. 1 year later will not return phone calls regarding generator warranty. My advise is to choose another dealer to install you Generac.

Excellent communication

Kept me well informed throughout the process, from first inquiry, to scheduling in-home assessment, to scheduling installation, and preparing for and understanding what to expect on install day. Installation crew Ryan, Greg, Kyle and Jake were courteous, informative, efficient, and well prepared. On arrival, they each introduced themselves and explained their role in the installation process. They worked in a very coordinated way so that progress occurred on each phase of installation simultaneously (gas and electrical connections, generator site prep and placement). At the conclusion of installation, Ryan demonstrated how the generator and transfer switch works to detect outage and transfer to generator power, and then to revert back to utility power when power restores. He made sure all my questions were answered, and that we had successfully connected the generator to my home network so I could use the Mobile Link app on my phone. Work was done neatly and all interior and exterior spaces cleaned up before leaving. Really appreciated how they worked. APCOM has done several installations in our neighborhood.

Bill was extremely attentive and did a great job!

We spoke to bill when we lost power during this Covid-19 virus. We got concerned when the power remained out for a long time and our daughters medical machines need electricity. Since the virus has been such an issue we had to get approvals from local and township and others and Bill was very concerned and helped us in any way he could. It was scheduled for three days later and Bill came to install (not sure who was with him). They installed the system and wore a mask the whole time to protect us and themselves and especially my daughter who has medical conditions. They explained everything and set it up and explained everything again. The local and townships I want to thank them (Kurt) for approving my generator and worrying about permits later. Everyone did such a great job working together and communicating effectively. We got the General 16W standby installed and haven’t used it yet but we are thankful for many years to come. They kept floor covers and carpet covers and gloves, booties and took the situation seriously. Cleaned up after themselves and l am truly happy. I am are hard person to please but he went above and beyond. He didn’t even worry about deposit and came and did the job. I would definitely recommend this company for any electrical work or generator install, very honest.

I had a 16KW whole house Generac generator installed on our vacation/retirement home in Canadian Lakes in 2014. Vanessa and the entire crew have all been great. We had the Mobile Link installed so we could monitor the house from our metro Detroit area home. We now have great peace of mind that our investment is being protected by Generac.

Great dealer and techs

I had my Generac installed and setup on what had to be one the coldest days (10 degrees above 0). The techs were very hard workers. They had to move snow and dig in frozen ground they worked hard and got it done as quick as possible, I was only without power for about 90 minutes. When they were finished they cleaned up and when over the operation of the Generac with me. I hope I never have to use it but pleased that I now have peace of mind that I don't have to worry about whos going to be around to help me start my portable generator. Much thank to all.
