Amazing Company

I tried for over two months to get the two companies with the highest recommendations on this site to give me a quote for a generator install. In desperation I went with Lowes, which matched me with Alternative Power. I wish I'd been able to find them directly, as they service all of North Carolina and parts of the surrounding states. Professional, prompt and we love our new generator. Wouldn't have happened without Alternative Power.

Awesome Dealer / Service

I have a service contract with Alternative Power of Morrisville, NC. to service my 22KW generator. This company is great all around from folks that work in the office insuring customers are taken care of and service appointments are scheduled, like Teresa a Service Manager who insured my appointment was scheduled and information was correct. Very friendly and courteous throughout the whole process. On the schedule day I received a text from the technician and phone call giving me a timeframe he will arrive. Jordan arrived 30 minutes ahead of stated time. Greeted me with a smile introduced himself and short explanation on the service he was going to do. Took about 90 minutes, to change oil, both filters, spark plug, checked battery and overall inspection of the system and complete function checked the system. He was very knowledgeable and thorough throughout the entire process. If you want a company to service your system, look no further. I assure you will be completely satisfied with Alternative Power. Totally Impressed with Alternative Power

My Generator is just a year old. I had set up an annual maintenance contract with Alternative Power an authorized Generac dealer. Thet came out a few weeks ago to perform the first annual maintenance on the generator and discovered an oil leak. After some investigation Jacob the technician determined determined that the seal on the engine flywheel shaft was leaking. He ordered the part. He returned a few days later and ran into problems getting the flywheel off the shaft to get to the seal. He worked on it for hours. After talking with his supervisor, they decided to order a new flywheel. Several days later I received a call from Robert (the supervisor) to tell me that he had the new flywheel and that he was coming out himself to repair the generator. Everyone I have dealt with at Alternative Power, from the office staff and Jacob and his supervisor Robert have done what they said they would do when they said they would do it. This is the kind of company I like to work with.

I have enjoyed EVERY interaction with Alternative Power— from installation, annual service, and the AMAZING customer service when my unit had an issue (still under warranty)! In the 18 months having this full house Generac- my experience with Alternative Power has been fully exceptional! I cannot fathom a better partnership! Nick in sales, Teresa in home office, Ken in the field….and others on this team- have been amazing! Thank you for the comfort and security that having this unit at my house has given me- especially with the single digit temps this Dec 2022 year! Thank you!!!!

OUTSTANDING SERVICE

Talk about a company that takes extra care of their customers and always goes the extra mile for their customers... that's Alternative Power. They have helped me for over 5 years. I had a minor issue and called them recently. Spoke with Teresa and she assured me she would get it resolved and sure enough, tech was here the next day, and issue was resolved. She is always a pleasure to talk to and always asks how we have been. My wife had gone through medical issues in the past and she actually remembered and asked about her. Personable and just amazing. Ken is also great, personable, professional and really knows his stuff. Both are great representations of the company. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable company to service or install a generator. Long term employees says a lot about what this company is all about. Outstanding dealer

Great experience with an outstanding dealer. My service tech (Will) was a very well spoken, articulate young man, Very respectful with manners very seldom seen from his generation. Will explained each step in my annual generator maintenance service with much patience and answered all my many question professionaly. The Service Manager (Teresa) was outstanding as well. From scheduling my annual.service, taking my payment over the phone and setting up my annual autodraft payment she to had great patience and explained everything professionaly. I would/will recommend this dealer to friends and family.

The service is great!

Alternative Power always provides excellent service. I am always pleased when Bill, their technician, provides maintenance services on my generator. He is clean-cut and very professional. I can tell that he takes pride in his work which always leaves me with a sense of complete satisfaction when he finishes the job.

So far, my experience with Alternative Power has been excellent. Teresa was my first point of contact and has been great to work with. The open lines of communication have made my experience problem-free. William, my technician, came today to do the yearly maintenance and he was courteous, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Excellent Service!

Alternative Power installed our Generac and performs the annual service. Installation scheduling and all the coordination was fantastic, Teresa managed this from start to finish. We just had our annual service which if you think you can do yourself, you cant, just look at the check list of things done. Kenneth came and arrived on the scheduled day and was terrific, very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Alternative Power to anyone.
