When we decided to build our new house I decided the first thing I wanted was a whole house generator! The one I had always heard of was a Generac! So I jumped on my cell phone and started searching for a dealer. I called probably called 10 companies!! Within 10 minutes I received a call back from your salesman. He set up a time to meet at the job site! We meet and he said he would work up a quote and get to me. I had it in about 2 hours! He then called me and went over the quote. He was so helpful deciding on what size I needed. So I ordered it and he told me the company was backlogged about 6 months!which as ok because they just started the build. We were in the house about a month and he called and said it was in and set up a time to come install it. The 2 guys that came to do the install were very professional and had it installed in about half a day! Very happy with the whole experience!

Jarrod and his team were transparent throughout the entire sales, installation, and post installation process. The Mobile Link system is a must and has come in handy for me when I've been out of town. I was lucky during the 2021 freeze not losing power, but I was not going to risk the future. The cost is easy to justify just with homeowner's deductible in the event of damage due to loss power. I highly recommend using Jarrod and the team at Alternative Home Energy

Like the 2021 Texas Freeze Out, the 2022 Christmas freeze had the potential to crash the electric grid. But I wasn\u2019t worried\u2026I now have a Generac generator installed by American Home Energy. It was a comfort to know that the generator was there. Went through Generacs web site to request a quote. Alternative Home Energy was the first and only dealer to contact me. Scheduled an on-site consultation promptly, showed up on time, was polite, friendly, & professional. Gave me options in selection of units both for money saving and generator size to accomplish what I wanted. Price was fair so I ordered Generator based on that meeting. At time of install I was well informed of process, and any questions I had or changes I wanted were addressed promptly to my satisfaction. Job was completed professionally, with no problems. I am really impressed with Alternative Home Energy. From beginning to end I knew they knew what they were doing. Even with the delayed time it took to get my generator from Generac, they were able to answer my questions and in the end I am VERY happy with the outcome. I spoke with Mr. Watson and his electrician, and they came out for an in home consultation the next day. They were very knowledgeable, but not salesy, which I appreciated. I've received three quotes, and Mr. Watson gave me a competitive price, especially for such a fast install. They have an order coming in, so I should have mine installed by Thanksgiving! Thank you!
