This dealer has great people to deal with, professional, courteous, highly experienced and willing to answer all questions. Took very little time to install and did a great job!

Horrible Customer Service

I called on a Monday for a down generator. They said the first they could get to me was Friday. Friday rolled around and no show or no phone call. I called on Monday and asked when someone was going to show up and they said my appointment was this coming Friday. (If they said that I would have never waited 2 weeks for service my generator was completely down) I waited until Friday at 4:00 and called since I still had a no show. They said the service man was busy and not sure if he was going to make it today, but would definitely be there Monday. On Monday, by 2:00 I still had not heard anything. I called and canceled the appointment. I looked on the Generac website and found another service provider who showed up at 5:00 the same day and fixed the generator on the spot.

Lack of Interest

There seemed to be a lack of interest in follow-up for my service call. After having to call them three times as to when I would be scheduled, I cancelled and went with a competitor - and - Advanced Generator originally installed the unit.

Casual Knoweldge

The salesman that showed up only had knowledge about the product he carried and only knew what was in the videos online. He was not able to discuss with me how the different options would effect me. I was disappointed because I had done my research and wanted to discuss my options with an expert. To add insult to injury I had an afternoon appointment that was moved to the evening. So by the time he got there it was pitch black and had no way of effectively doing a survey for where the generator would be placed. He also left with writing up a quote 14 hrs later... still no quote. Can't say I want to see their service after seeing their sales.

Very clean, knowledgeable and professional.

Lee was at the house when he said he would be there. He helped coordinate with our propane dealer to make sure they had the proper tanks needed. The job was clean, neat and all cartons, wrappers, etc. were taken off site. We would highly recommend him.

Dealer not reliable

No recommendation, not dependable. Feb. 2014, 2 appointments not kept. No phone calls to explain. Called them, explanation; too cold to work on generator.Had 4appontments till repairs on Mar. 3rd. June 2014, power outage June 30-July 4. Generator was not working properly after total tune up in March 3rd. July 3rd stopped working. Basement flooded. Repeated calls, took 1 week, repaired on July 7th. Told could not work on generator till electrical power restored - NOT True

Larry of Advance Generator was wonderful.Install was a difficult one and they handled it with ease. Had recent gas smell and were there the same day to repair. Have used there electrician on other work in our home. Would and have recommended to others.GN
