Rick and his staff installed a whole house Generac for me in November 2022. Every individual was very professional and friendly. With the Generac, they also replaced my entire circuit breaker system. When the electrical inspector checked the work, he said the top of the circuit panels were four inches too high-out of code. Within the hour, Absolute made and installed a platform to meet the electric code. Fantastic service!! I especially like the idea that they monitor the system and are quick to inform you of problems. First, generator installed 1 month than when ordered. Dealer called in well in advance to schedule installation. Crew arrived early, but was no problem. Took about 7 hrs for complete installation and tech (Greg) to review with me the pertinent information and basics of Generator operation. Made sure he answered any questions I may have and reiterated that if any questions or problems come up they are a phone call away. I highly recommend this dealer.

Our entire experience with Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions was wonderful. Our salesman, Jason, explained everything we wanted to know about a whole house Generac and we made the purchase in Sept. 2021, We were informed the Generac was on back order and we would receive it most likely in January or February of 2022. We purchased it and to our delight it arrived early. It was installed on Dec. 29, 2021. The installers were all very polite and professional. They removed their shoes each time they entered my home. They cleaned up after themselves and it was like no one was ever there. Tyler took the time to explain the operation of the Generac and multiple times asked if I had any other questions. All 3 gentlemen that came for the install were very courteous, efficient, and professional. I would definitely recommend this company for a Generac installation!

I contacted Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions to replace an old (2004) 15 kw Generac generator, and because the local company that had been providing my maintenance had become unresponsive to my requests to contact me.I spoke with Maria, the office manager at Absolute, and she put me in phone contact with Rick, the owner, who came out within a day of my call and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He gave me a competitive quote and I was able to schedule a relatively quick installation. The installers, Tyler and Tom, and sub-contracted plumber, Reuben, were equally professional and friendly. They were fast, courteous, and answered all my questions. I am looking forward to the new generator and to an ongoing service relationship with Rick and his team.

For years we have relied on one of the largest HVAC/Electrical shops in the area to service our air conditioner, heater, water softeners and electrical need. But I chose a Lowes contractor, Absolute Solar, to install my new Generac whole-home generator. This contractor, although new to me, exhibited scrupulous patience and a non-compromising approach to quality and precision. Absolute Solor kept the project moving throughout the day so that the unit would minimize its debt service.

We have talked about getting this generator for a long time. After last outage we decided that now is the time. Called Generac and they gave us this dealer. The owner came out and we were sold that night. When the day came for hook up, the staff was very, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. overall the team was responsive and did a great job in bad weather conditions for the install. System was up and running that day even with my continued questions during the process. Only thing that surprised me was how loud the 60dB sound level really was compared to an outside Air conditioning unit.

On May 25, 2016, we had a 16 KW natural gas Generac generator and a Square D QO electrical panel installed by Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions (aka Fortney Construction, Inc.) of Hummelstown, PA. The project also involved running an additional gas line in our basement from one end to the other. Two electricians and one plumber were here from 7 AM to approximately 5 PM. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, I would give this company a 10+. They exceeded our expectations.Now to support my high rating. Rick Fortney, the owner, was very generous with his time. He came to our house twice to provide us with all the information we needed to make intelligent decisions. He also provided us with written proposals to delineate everything that was included in the cost. He answered all of our questions. A few days before installation, after taking care of permits and contacting the utilities for us, he came to our house again with his foreman to ensure that everyone was on the same page. On installation day, everything went as planned. No glitches or surprises occurred. The three men were meticulous and very hard working. They took great pride in doing an excellent job. They were also very respectful of our property. At the end of the day, they tested the generator and, of course, it worked perfectly.The loss of power is no longer a concern for us. We don\u2019t have to worry about lights, heat, AC, the freezer, the refrigerator, etc. This is very comforting especially when we are away. Rick is welcomed to show prospective customers the work that Absolute Solar has done for us and they will see why I gave his company such a high rating.

From start to finish this project was a pleasure. Rick was professional throughout, he took care of all necessary permits, and in our case also made arrangements with the local gas company to install upgraded equipment. The installers did a great job, other than the fact that we now have a unit sitting alongside of our house, you would not know they were there. From the start I sensed that Absolute was a company I could work with and be completely satisfied. Their project coordinator kept me informed throughout the entire process. My wife and I wanted the security of knowing we had a good backup generator solution. We interviewed three other generator brands and settled on Generac. We interviewed three Generac dealers and while we were very disappointed with some dealers, we settled on Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions based on their presentations and proposal. Between the time we settled and the installation, their office stayed in touch with us to assure the installation date met our expectations as well as answered some residual questions. On the day of the installation, I had two technicians arrive on time and spent the day installing as well as answering any and all questions I had. When they arrived I was nervous about the location of installation, the routing of the gas line, and the steps to complete the installation. They were extreme patient with me and answered all questions to my satisfaction. I observed the technicians throughout the installation and looked for sloppy procedures. I FOUND NONE. At the end of the day, I was very satisfied that the technicians had installed the generator system correctly; had been extremely careful to cosmetically meet my expectations; and, were ready to leave my home and property as they found it. Before they left they reviewed all operational procedures with me and assured that I had no concerns, issues or residual questions.
