Abs Alaskan, INC

Waited and Waited

I went into their shop twice to get a quote on a whole home generator and never got the information I requested. I also called them once and they said they would get back with me. I don't understand why they wouldn't provide me the information I needed. I've tried to contact Generac as well and they are just as bad. I don't think customer service is part of Generac.

Not very responsive about questions on finishing install,

I have called at least 15 times to come out and do scheduled maintenance on my generator, all last summer! I have not yet received one call back and it is now the end of January! He was hard to contact while they were doing the install and once completed haven’t heard from him! With numerous messages! Too busy to take care of existing customers, more money to make on installs!

Helpful and knowledgeable

I went in and asked about the Generac Standby system and was asked some pertinent questions that set the parameters for what I needed. The owner was set up the deal and ordered the unit with a down payment, and helped with all my electricians questions on the install. the install went smoothly, I have a site inspection scheduled with the propane company next week. We'll be all set for winter.Hoping we won't have to use it, but ready all the same. .
