911 GENERATORS

Mike was the technician that serviced our generator this past week, he was knowledgeable and incredibly polite.

When our house was built two years ago the electrician installed the generator and basically handed us the cover key and manual and said "See Ya!" I changed the oil and filters last year and installed the cold weather kit. When it wouldn't start, 911 serviced it and installed the mobile link. The generator is back in operation and all was done quickly and efficiently.

This is the second time I have gone to 911. My 14kw unit had a low voltage error and would not go into exercise cycle. It was Sunday and we were had weather coming in the next day that could have caused us to lose power. I call 911 and wihin 15 minutes I had a call back from the Service Technician. He offered to drive to our home on Sunday, but I told him it could probably wait. He said that he would be there early PM monday. He called to let me know when would arrive and was within about 5 minutes of when he said he would be at our home. He diagnosed the problem and solved it.That is service that really impresses me. They are knowledgeable and do what they promise.

They corrected a poor installation by someone else. They were easy to work with internally and on site.Very professional in all aspects of the process from scheduling to field service work. Very pleasant to work with. The field work was done in an efficient and thorough manner. The cleanup was through. They also explained in lay terms what was done and why and educated me about the system.

I don't usually write on these things but felt I needed to share my experience.

My wife and I have been thinking about a standby generator for about 3 or 4 years now and with our last power outage we thought it was about time! I called 911 generators and talked to a very nice lady who took all my information and told me the sales person would be in contact with me. Less then 10 minutes later their generator sales person called me and we talked about what our needs were. He had no problems answering any and all my questions over the phone, and then we set up a time for him to come out and do a site visit. He had no problem coming out after regular business hours since my wife wanted to be there as well. He talked about the best placement of the generator, what size fit our needs, and what was involved with the install. He took pictures, measurements and did a sketch of my property. He left some light reading material on Generac and told me he would have a quote to me the next day. He delivered as promised and the price was right !!
