Took advantage of my 89 year old mother. Gave the lady $8000 down never showed up, will not return calls. Had to hire an attorney to try to recover my mother\u2019s money back. It has has been over 8 months still no generator getting a judgment in small claims

Made 3 appointment- 1st cancelled due to service truck problems, rescheduled. 2nd appt- no call no show. Rescheduled again. 3rd appt.- no call no show AGAIN. These guys installwd and have previously serviced generator. Not dure what happened but I'm moving on to a different company.

I worked with Amanda at this company. She is amazing. I highly recommend her. I had a Generac placed at my home and from the beginning to the end the service was superb. She answered all my questions, she gave her professional advice as to the placement. She has also done other work for me period. The personal attention, doing work after hours, going beyond the call of duty. I have worked with multiple companies over my lifetime, and I have never seen such hard work, total commitment to customer satisfaction, dedication. Don\u2019t use any other company, This is by far the best company ever!!!!! Thanks Amanda

I have been trying to to reach Amanda from TAG mechanical that has now gone out of business, moved and renamed themselves. I have a whole house of their product under warranty and they have never called me back. I had to pay for warranty repairs because they never registered my sale!!!

This company installed a Generac generator at our home, but did not file a permit or make code compliant. When notified, they promised to fix it on several dates, but never showed up. Now they no longer answer the phone. I recommend avoiding this dealer due their lack of customer responsiveness and their apparent lack of training and skill in installing Generac products.

Have been trying to reach Amanda since June of 2018. She finally called in September and replaced one of the two covers damaged when our generator was delivered Sept 2017. Since them no contact. I went to their address and they are no longer there. Found out they were sold out and the generator division was to try and keep going by itself. Doesn't appear to have happened. If you look them up on the internet their site does not respond. Our concern is who to turn to for maintenance and to move the unit if need be. If you look up Generac they give you other dealers but no TAG is mentioned.I suggest if one needs to find a good dealer or more information to call Generac direct.

I was worried about this one. I did a ton of research and I have to say I'm glad I did. Boy did it pay off. I had a few companies in my home and they just didn't give me the comfort feeling that TAG did. And what else is more important than when we are having a generator installed than piece of mine. Go with TAG, you won't regret a minute of it. I know I don't

I highly recommend TAG for any generator needs. The entire staff from sales, install, and office are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and do a fantastic job. Do not hesitate to call them!

I wanted to strat off by telling you I had another brand generator that failed when I needed it. My wife and I love to travel and have had a generator installed about 4 years ago. Well we went away and when we came home we found are basement to have almost two foot of water in it. I cried everything was wrecked. floating. we called our insurance company and the adjusted came out. The insurance adjusted recomended that we call our local code official , and have Court from Tag Mechanical to repair or replace our generator. The fire marshall / code officer told Lori and I that the old generator was under sized I had a 10kW running my 200 amp service. the natural gas pipe was undersized. and worst thing he said it could of caused a fire because the wire was undersized. I should have never had a water softner comapny install my original generator. I call BBB and the attorney general to document the complaint. well it cost me more for my wrong impoperly install generator the my new generac. Brian from TAG installed the new generator, fixed the wiring, fixed the gas pipe, instructed us on the proper use and care, we now have a 17kW installed and inspected by an electrical inspector for less than our old generator cost us. i would only recomend using TAG and Court Rutherford for any Generators in the Syracuse area They are installing a second generator now for my office.

My generator experience from the start to the finish was sooo good. I had spent a lot of time doing homework both on the internet and speaking to various other dealers. My sales person from TAG was prompt and professional, and did not try to oversell me. Some of the other dealers did try to put in units that I felt were way over my family's needs. When the crew came to install the generator, they worked hard and kept me in the loop during the install to make sure I was going to be happy with placement and looks. My spot was difficult due to terrian, but made it fit right in. When we lost power a few weeks after the generator was installed, it started right up. I thought I had a problem and called for service. The service department contacted me back in a reasonable amount of time even though it was late on a Saturday afternoon. They were at my home to check out the unit in a short amount of time. There was nothing wrong with the unit. It was me. I learned that if there is no power, and I do have power because of my generator that Time Warner may not have power. Next time I will watch a DVD movie. The serviceman did not laugh at me but explain that I was not the first person that made this discovery. The whole experience was wonderful.

From the sales staff to the installers - everyone was friendly and professional. They cared about their work and about how the genrator would operate and look with my home's exterior. This is a topnotch company to work with.
