I recently purchased a house with an existing Generac residential generator installed by this dealer. I requested a service appointment, and that the service tech take me through its operation.

What a pleasure to deal with a professional company. Arrived on time, obvious from the start the staff was knowledgeable on the product and proper installation process. They were all very respectful to me throughout the day and kept me updating on their progress and upcoming steps. I can't say enough good things about them. Keep up the good work!

From the time I made my initial phone call to schedule a home assessment with Bill Yaw to the final installation, this company did a A1, SUPER PROFESSSIONAL AND EXCELLENT INSTALLATION on my Generac 11kw generator. I would HIGHLY recommend Zenner & Ritter for any job. Thanx again guys!

Had my annual generator's oil changed and tune-up a few weeks ago, by Jim the service tech. He is very courteous, polite and very knowledgeable of this product. I asked him a question and I received a reply quickly. I like that they use Royal Purple oil and you can see it on the dip stick. P.S. See you next Oct. Keep up the good work.RVB.50

We contacted Zenner & Ritter to install our Generac 25kW emergency generator. We let them know that we live quite a ways north on the shore of Lake Ontario to be certain they serviced that area. After spending about 20 minutes on the phone answering numerous questions about the generator and the set-up at our home, we were told that they would provide us with a quotation within a week. We never heard another word from Zenner & Ritter! If they didn't want to do our job or travel all the way up to our house they should have told us from the start rather than waste our time. In retrospect I shouldn't be surprised as their representative did not sound very interested on the phone at all.

Zenner and Ritter was timely, professional and knowledgeable. The service personnel explained everything thoroughly and took their time to answer questions. They were also very clean. I would recommend them to anyone.

Zenner & Ritter installed our generator a little over a year ago. We received other estimates and were referred to them by a neighbor (who already had a system installed). They were the only ones that (1) provided several options rather than just "telling me what I needed" and explained the code / permit requirements. We selected an air cooled 10kw.

We had Zenner & Ritter install a liquid cooled 18kw generator. They were very responsive until the contract was signed. Once that happened, very poor customer service. They have on multiple occassions forgot to order the correct parts for maintenance. I just had them come out for an anti-freeze change. While doing it, the fan broke and went into the radiator. Comment was "Generac has had some problems with their fans". We have had to hound them for return calls and updates on parts. Their response was "the phone calls have been crazy". (Solution: hire more friendly knowledgable people) I have waited over two weeks to get this far, now they are saying the parts will take at least two weeks and they will see about getting us a service appointment. They were very quick to say that there isn't anything the can do to help us as far as the fan and radiator. I am definitely going to look for another service company. If this is Generac's elite company, I may have picked the wrong generator company to go with also. What a nightmare. High winds forcasted for Friday and I have a $10K paperweight for a generator:(

I have heard good things on Zenner & Ritter and they are very well respected in the industry. Unfortunately their focus is not residential otherwise they would be able to accommodate schedules better. Appointment for estimates are offered during 8-4 M-F. Being an elite dealer for residential their hours should be available after 5 and at least Saturdays.

I left a voicemail and received a response the next morning. I desired an assessment and estimate for a home generator system, but there was no offer of availability after 5 pm or on weekends. The only offer received was to have a neighbor let the company representative in during the daytime. This is very disappointing and is not consistent with other customer service I have received.

We have used Zenner and Ritter for 15+ years and their service is GREAT. I would highly recommend them and my Generator has been wonderful.

I was most pleased with the time that was spent explaining the different products an options available. I felt as though enough time was spent so I could make an informed decision. When the installation was completed and I had a question, I had no difficult getting through to the office and have my question answered. I also felt comfortable knowing that this dealer has been in Buffalo for a long time and can provide any service needs I might have. Overall, very professional service.

The dealer was very informative and followed through with everything in a timely manner. The installers were neat and left no mess. We love the unit and have already experienced the luxury of having electricity when others in our neighborhood were in the dark and cold. We found the dealer to be reliable, trustworthy and very responsive to any questions.

My wife wanted us to get a generator in case we ever had another storm like the one we had in October a few years back. We called around and had a few different guys come to our home to give estimates. Needless to say that we went through Zenner and Ritter and the experience went very well. The estimator that came out was very knowledgeable with the generators and didn't try to sell us something way above our families needs like the other companies did! The install went smoothly and I haven't had any issues at all. I would recommend Zenner and Ritter to anybody who asks!

Zenner and Ritter has taken care of my whole house generator for years! They are friendly and very professional- a pleasure to do business with. Each year they come out to change the oil and do what ever other maintenance is needed and they keep my generator working like a charm! I highly recommend this company!

Once we had an installation date, the Zenner/Ritter crew came right over and did a terrific job. They went out of their way to protect our bushes and were incredibly conscientious about constructing a level, neat, and well-situated base for our new generator. Once the unit was installed the technician was very patient about explaining everything to us and discussing the recommended maintenance program. Now, every time a storm knocks out electricity to the area, we are relieved to have our new generator... We are very pleased with our purchase!

We just purchased a new home with a generator system already in place. With everything involved with the moving process, we never learned anything about the Generator...until it automatically started and we didn't know why! I contacted Zenner & Ritter, Inc. and they were able to provide immediate assistance over the phone - it was simply doing its weekly self-test cycle (a free answer rather than trying to send out a technician to collect a service call). We dealt with many contractors and service providers through the moving process and were beginning to think that all contractors were dysfunctional - - what a breath of fresh air it was dealing with the staff at Zenner & Ritter! They provided great information over the phone and forwarded the maintenance program information we requested within days, as promised. As a consumer, I did compare their rates with other Generac dealers and Zenner & Ritter was the most reasonable with the most options (some of the other places were scary to talk to, never returned the call, etc.). I don't usually write online reviews but I saw the review option when contacting other dealers - - my interactions with Zenner & Ritter office and field staff compelled me to share how happy we were to find a competent contractor that cares!

They are an excellent dealer and I am very satisfied with their services. When I had a mnor problem on a weekend one of the owners came out to my house to resolve it. Thier technicians are very knowledgable and courteous. I would highly recommend them.
