Storm Guardian in Alvin installed our Generac generator and from start to finish it was a smooth, pleasant experience. The generator was installed right and is working perfectly. I have heard horror stories of bad installs with other companies from friends. I'm super glad we went with Storm Guardian!

Storm Guardian Generator installed our generator. They were efficient, reasonably priced, professional, and even completed the installation within the predicted time frame.

Each step of getting my generator located through up and running went just as promised to me. All of my questions were accepted and completely explained to me in a timely manner.

This is the second time we have had an error code that has to be fixed by an authorized service person and cannot get anyone to put us on the schedule to come out and reset it. Today(June 2nd, 2022) is the 2nd day of hurricane season. I called May 25th and she ran me through the reset and when it didn't work she said the person that does the repairmen scheduling was at lunch and she would call me back. Never heard back. CALLED AFTER HOURS AND LEFT A MESSAGE. No call back. I called them and this time she was in the office but said I didn't leave my number on the voicemail and she was waiting for me to call her back. I sure as heck left it the day before when I was on the phone with the 1st person. She then told me to schedule someone to come out we had to fill out a form. She emailed it to my husband. It had a fax number at the top and no other info so he faxed it. I called a few days later after no communication again and they told me they don't have a fax machine. I asked if she could just put us on the schedule(they were already booked up for this week) and I would drop off the form in Alvin. Guess what? The scheduler is on vacation this week. We have had nothing but problems with customer service from this company

We purchased a 22kw generator and our generator has been offline off and on for the last 3 weeks. We get voice mails and now we are getting the run around about whether our E1505 error code will be under warranty or not. We have to agree to a service call fee for someone to tell us if this error code is generally a warranty issue or not. We are very disappointed in the lack of customer service when we spent this much money just a year and a half ago and now we cant be trusted to pay under 300.00 for a service fee.

Do not offer parts. I suppose they are only interested in the initial sale. From there you are on your own unless under warranty. From one of their own installs I imagine.

I contacted SGG to maintain my older Generac generator. I used them for several years, and they provided twice yearly maintenance. They were very responsive and reminded me when my maintenance was due. While remodeling my home, including total house electrical rewiring, I decided to upgrade my old Generac to a larger one. My electrician did the write up for purchasing the new generator and installing a transfer switch, etc. through a different Generator company. I know SGG was disappointed that I did not contact them, but explained that my electrician handled it. However, I want to recommend them to anyone who might be looking to purchase a new generator. They were friendly, punctual, helpful, provided great service.

They walked us through the complicated installation process, choreographing the permitting, visits by electrical and gas utilities, and their own installation teams with minimum effort on our part. This was the second quote I got, with my first being completely outrageous from another company, and installation was fine and boy, were we glad to have this Generac come Hurricane Harvey!!! I have now purchased two whole house Generators from Storm Guardian and once again contemplating a new home purchase which we will require a whole house generator. With all the moving parts to estimate and complete a generator install, the idea of a turnkey solution appealed to me. Scheduling permits, electrical, gas, testing, remote monitoring and education. Don't take these for granted. I know that Storm Guardian and their professional partners don't. We had our first legitimate power failure last Sunday night around 9:30PM. The Generator worked like a charm(starting about 10 seconds after power failure) and the neat thing, made a believer out of my wife. The powerwas off for a little over an hour it was so nice to have electricity (and Air Conditioning). Power was restored around10:30 and the generator ran for about a minute in the cool down cycle then shutoff.

Storm Guardian Generators was fantastic from intial estimate to final testing. They worked with my busy schedule, and did not give me the run around like other dealers in Houston, making me wait until after closing for an estimate, as I wanted the generator installed prior to my move in!

Storm Guardian is a small family owned company. Of the three companies from which we obtained estimates I was most impressed with this company. The initial brochure with which I was presented when I received the estimate was the most complete and informative about the company and the product.Everyone was helpful. Myra and Cindy in the office were always very cordial and helpful in scheduling and giving me information. The men that came for the installation were always on time and easy to work with (we had "mixed up" wiring in an old house). I was very satisfied with the whole process. Prompt Quotation and completed job on time. Cleaned up construction site and checked back on progress of plumber and gas service. Completed start-up and gave excellent instructions. Went over all start-up and installed remote station and went over all of the program.

I placed my order with Storm Guardian Generators LP on February 23 2012 and was advised they would keep me informed through every step of the installation. They applied for and received all permits for the process and contacted me with dates and times for installers to begin the work. The installers arrived right on time and were very friendly as well as professional as they worked. I was then contacted and advised that the city inspections were scheduled and after complete, Center Point would be notified for the meter upgrade. Again everything went as scheduled, and the project received Green tags from the city without any problems. Storm Guardian contacted me and advised when Center Point would be here and again no problems. The initial start up was scheduled for April 3 2012, the crew arrived and completed all of the set up procedures and initial start up. On April 4 2012 the President of Storm Guardian Generators LP came out for his inspection of the work completed and to take time to walk through all the features of the system with me. I am very pleased with Storm Guardian Generators LP staff, work crews and the President of the company. I will highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for a generator.
