Home Backup crew arrived as scheduled with our 24KW backup generator. Kyle, Owen and John, the electrician, explained what was to come during the installation process and it went off without a hitch. We were very pleased with the installation, the clean up outside and inside and the thorough explanation of the backup system by both Kyle and John. Very professional from top to bottom. Home Backup Systems was super accomodating with installation during the Covid. Final set-up & commissioning was well supported with (4) guys being on-site, they were in & out in less than 2hrs.Thanks for the professionalism guys!

We had some extra money left over from our kitchen remodel and we decided this was a good investment due to the state of the world right now. We contacted Home Backup Systems LLC and they had someone out to our house next day to investigate the property to determine best placement for the generator. We had to get a bigger gas meter on the house but that was free from WE Energies because their meter would not provide enough BTUs for our needs. If you wanted a bigger meter just because you want one, then you have to pay. Be aware of this. Two months later they come out to install the generator. I took the day off so I could assist with any issues. I also had a lot of computer equipment to turn off to make sure there were no issues. We ran into some issues due to our house being built in 1851 but we overcame all obstacles. In less than 8 hrs the generator was installed and tested operational. I took photos and published them to Google Reviews during the whole process. Things went well and I am very happy with our purchase! It does its own self test every Monday @ noon and you can barely notice it. Thanks Mike!

They were on time and completed the job in the specified amount of time they were professional and in this day of social distancing we are very cognizant of those issues with respect to the spread of Covid I appreciate that they wore masks in the house and we are very satisfied with the generator and the new Wi-Fi connection that allows us to monitor generator activity

We purchased a 16 kW whole-house, natural gas powered Automatic Standby Generator package from Home Backup Systems in Fort Atkinson, WI. Because we live in an area with mature trees, power losses can occur with any larger storm. (Our generator has run 4 times in less than a year, once for 7 1/2 hours without any problems.)We have been very pleased with Home Backup Systems from the first sales call through the process of specification, quotes/pricing, follow-up questions, product selection, installation, and service. The site survey and requirements analysis were thorough. Mike, our salesperson, developed a plan for installation which accommodated our gas service location and running cable through a finished portion of our basement. We discussed 3 unit size options. Mike provided easily understandable quotes within 2 days, and quick feedback on our detailed follow-up questions. When compared with the other quotes we had received, Mike\u2019s pricing made the selection of a larger system an easy choice. (We also signed up for Home Backup\u2019s 3-year annual maintenance service plan.)Installation was completed on the date promised, in a professional manner, with care and good cleanup.

Dealer was very quick to respond to issues with installation. Purchase process was very easy and informative. Price was surprisingly affordable and staff very helpful and friendly. I will recommend this dealer to my friends and neighbors.

We are totally off grid and in grey weather conditions, we need our generator. Ours went down on a Friday afternoon. We learned about HBS, gave them a call, and they were able to walk us through a fix over the phone!

Can't say enough about our experience with Home Back up Systems. Had a Generac generator/switch installed. Great email correspondence from day one, always keeping us up to par on what was going on, answering all our questions. Service men very friendly, respected my home (had to go in and out dozens of times in snow and mud), took shoes off every trip...I've had many contractors in and out that didn't care how they left my carpets. This impressed me. Cleaned up EVERYTHING before they left, explained unit functions, etc. Highly recommend!

My generator was originally installed by a local electrician with no experience in backup systems. I called this dealer for my annual checkup and they made a few adjustments that were never done properly the first time. The tech also noticed an issue that was covered by a factory recall and took care of filing for the parts and making the replacement. Overall, I 'm very happy with the service and will continue to use HBS.

A survey was completed and a proposal promised the next day but we have received nothing. I have followed up with 3 phone calls and email with no response. How is this an elite dealer?

Our generator had to be placed away from our home these guys figured out a way to place the generator in back of our garage an hide all of the pipes, it runs great and we have used it twice since I can not say enough about the experience we have with HBS
