Hurricane staring us down and Rob came out (twice) to get our generator going. I can't say enough good things about this guy. we will use him for any other generators/ service, etc we might need. THANKS Rob !!!!

The purchase, and installation were excellent but, two years after when I needed them for an emergency service call for the first time, unless I gave them up front over the phone a $350 credit card charge they had nothing to do with me.Very disappointing after spending lots for a 22kw generator and a 10 year warranty from them!We need power for medical equipment, thank God TECO restored power after only 4 hrs, but cannot depend on GenerX after the sale!

I recently discovered why my A/C usage has increased since the generator install. When they laid the cable through the attic they damaged the ducting and left a large hole in the duct.They never said a word and evidently Nobody bothered to inspect what the worker had done. After several months of higher utility costs I went up to see if there was a leak and the duct was knocked down and had a gaping hole. I was satisfied with the generator but quality control is lacking to make sure it is installed without creating damage.

The service response after sales is none existence. If you can get a service response there price is ridiculous.

You can not go wrong with this company. They do it all and fast and complete start to finish. If they say they are going to do something they do it and them some. Great job for me. Thank you.

I compared prices with 4 different companies and length of time to get installed as well as service. No one and I mean no one can touch GenerX on any of these needs. These people are awesome from the original salesperson to the installers to the electrical guys. They did it all. One stop shop for sure. I'm submitting this review regarding my SECOND generator from this very professional vendor.

Sales and install were good. They fall completely apart when it comes to service. They gave me a 12pm to 3pm window. I wait, wait and wait. At 3:15 I call. "Oh, the tech had an emergency". They couldn't call me? Then when I asked the tech why he didn't call, his response, "That's not my job". He arrived 1.5 hours past the window. To add insult to injury the tech just laughs when I asked if the part was covered under warranty. Keep in mind the unit is only 18 months old. The tech then continues to antagonize by calling me an a-hole. It seems to be a problem with the company culture. I'm taking my service needs to Jack Joyner. They are cheaper and more responsive.

Fast and friendly service, have had a generator for for 15 years and just upgraged to a new system

Everything was handled very professionally. Very smooth from start to finish. Installers were very conscientious and were careful to ensure I understood everything before departing. Follow up with MobileLink setup was also very prompt and professional. I recommended GenerX to my neighbor and he is also having them install for his home. Cheers!

I obtained estimates from 2 dealers. The other was a few thousand higher and said woukd have to wait 5-6 months, plus give them 50% down immediately. Generx didn't and my wait was weeks not months. They have always been very professional, kept me informed and explained the work in advance. I highly recommend them.

complete lack of support. you are unable to call and talk to human. you leave email and no call back for days. this company acts like they are out of business. I would not do business with a large generac dealer that will not answer calls and support their customers. I called generac main company to request part gave model number and support was unable to give part number !!! really !! this is a total game of control to jack up the costs and leave the customer in the total position fo the dealer to control! i will never buy a generac product again.

The process of having a new installation went very smoothly. All the techs that were very informative and professional. They all went the extra mile to make the process simple.

I had done my own research and knew what I wanted and needed. So I was knowledgeable about the products before I started any conversations. I sent over an email asking for assistance. Within 30 minutes I got a response and negotiated a deal. The install and set up was seamless. Glad to be a part of their team.

Spoke with Josh and he was so personable .... made me feel like family. Unfortunately generx was unable to help me with a portable generator but they did guide me to a local dealer. It took the dealer a week to respond to my initial inquiry. Then then sent me a form to fill out so they could schedule a estimate in 4 weeks. I filled out the form, and got no response. Sent a reminder - no response. These guys have no idea what customer service is.

After waiting 6 months for someone to visit and provide an estimate. After being told twice during this 6 months "we'll have someone call you next week" and never hearing back. They finally come out in March, provide an estimate and when I respond with questions, they stop responding to me. After waiting a week and a half to hear back from the salesman, I called and left a message that I wanted to speak with the franchise owner and I'd like to still do business with them, it's been over a week and still NO RESPONSE. There is no excuse for this total lack of response. I am seeking another dealer to install my generator.

This company provides amazing customer service! The sales team first sends out a welcome email along with informational videos on the generators, then calls for to make an appointment and answers all questions (not pushy sales tactics). When you place your order, you receive a detailed email on who, what, when the services will be performed (very helpful and considerate). The electrical & gas installations are done on different days by highly trained technicians who know what they are doing. They explain the process & time needed and they all bring levels to make sure their work looks great!! They take pride in their work! The last contact is with the "start-up" technician who goes over the systems to make sure everything works properly and provides additional information (one caution here, he's a Carolina Panther fan). Bottom line, I am extremely pleased with the entire process and confident in recommending Generx!

Generx staff is courteous and very responsive. When I needed a part for my generator they did everything in their power to work with me and get me what I needed to make sure my family and I were safe and taken care of after a storm.

I worked for the utility for 25 years. When we bought our house in Florida, I saw we were the very last house on a tired-looking feeder. We had natural gas run to the house, then had a natural gas generator installed. About 10 weeks later Irma hit. We were without power for five days, but the generator kicked on immediately and we were the house where people could use the freezer or just cool off. The gas bill was cheap--less than one night in a hotel. Very afforible, very reliable.

Thank you Generx! When hurricane Irma came for a visit and our entire neighborhood lost power, we did not. Not only did our generator kick on as expected it stayed on for 4 days straight, without any problems. Mark was knowledgeable, efficient, responsive.Installation was quick and easy. One of the best purchases I've made. The generator self tests each week so no remembering to do it. It went on automatically during a hurricane, didn't even realize power switched over. Everything ran as usual and then switched back when electricity came back on. Was so thankful to not be out of electricity for a week!

Simply outstanding. They installed the generator quickly and kept up on maintenance so when power was needed after Hurricane Irma it worked. It was nice to have hot water and air conditioning when the rest of the neighborhood was out of power for 6 days. Can not thank the Generx team enough!!

I have 12,000 sq foot home and generator stopped working after about 3 days of IRMA.I contacted Generx and they walked me thru how to fix it on the phone. It stopped working again after about 30 minutes and I called them back and read them the error messages and they did all the could to locate the parts and came out and fixed the generator. They could have blown me off since they were so busy but instead did all they could to fix it and they did fix and I had generator power until the power came back on. I would recommend them to anybody for their excellent service.

We were in need of a starter for our 45KW and it was two days before Hurricane Irma hit. Mark Costis was in constant contact with me making sure I was calm and that he would get a tech to me and if he couldn't he was going to come himself. The starter was replaced, we lost power and we were the only house on the block with a fully functioning home during this storm. I will forever be grateful to Mark and we are now buying a 60kw (added some extra electric to our house) and putting the 45kw at my parents. We had a Hurricane and my generator was not transferring power so I called Rob about my Generac Generator. I was not a customer. He asked for a few pix and walked me through a diagnosis and my self repair. What a gentleman. Patient and answered all my questions..even to 9 pm.A day later another problem with the generator not starting. Again he provided a help in getting it started. Go noplace else for service.

Have been a customer for 5 years. Have always been pleased with installation and routine service. All working perfectly, but concerned about maintenance during long term use after Hurricane Irma. Even though obviously overwhelmed by disaster, Rob and staff responded promptly and addresses all my concerned..... all while working 24/7 to help others. Would give hem 6 stars if I could.

Post Hurricane Irma, when demand was at an all-time high, I got a quick response when my generator went down. A call, some very responsive texting, a quick trip to Walmart, and finally a Face Time exchange to walk me through the final touches. Back up in 90 minutes with the entire world needing help. Great work, guys.

I went thru the test run today for my new whole house system. It handle a load that consisted of the following items all at the same time;2-A/C units, electric clothes dryer, electric oven, electric cook top and all the lights in the home. Very, very impressive! Why has been even more impressive is the high level of customer service I've received during my install. Thank you!!!

My 2005 Generac Generator was due for it's maintenance check up as I can only afford to have it done every 2 years. Being a loyal customer for the past 5/6 years, I called Generx Generators last Friday after hours and left a message to set up an appointment for service. This past Monday morning, I was called immediately by Liana and she got me an appointment for the next day with an early window. Being on a tight budget, I explained my financial situation to her and with no questions asked, she offered me a discount. I was called the next morning, Tuesday, 3/15/16 by Matt C., the technician who was coming out to work on my Generator, only 15 minutes after my window started and was here within 20 minutes after his call. He was very professional and knowledgeable with his performance and I will be requesting him as my technician. He even gave me some pointers to do myself to help the performance of my Generator. I emailed a compliment to Generx Generators' main office and I would like to thank them again with this testimonial as they deserve a GREAT BIG TWO THUMBS UP!!! My Mom and I keep up this generator in honor of my late father, rather than just for ourselves. We lost him to complications from cancer back in 11/08. He loved his generator and would also be proud of us and Generx Generators and their dedicated service credentials. My advice is to not settle for less and go with the best!!! Thank you...

Dale Jarosz and his awesome crew installed the Generac and pads and installed the electrical equipment, propane installation. They arranged for the tanks to be filled and all permits to be issued. We had purchased a GE whole house generator from JDS smart power. Once installed we had numrous problemw getting the county to pur its finasl stamp of approval on the install. We continually called JDS for updates and were totally ignored. We even had a problem and it took 3 weeks to even get a responce from JDS to get it repaired. Finally after 3 years and the county was going to have JDS resubmit for a permit they finsally could not get out here fast enough to take care of the problems. After this we ran into another problem and decided to contact Generex Generators Inc for a service call and they were out the next day. and repaired the problem. We were so impressed we took out a service contarct with Mark and are very pleased with the company and their service. I would give them a 10 out of ten and only sorry we did nbot have them as our initial installers. We were told there was a minor problem with the GE generator but ther would take care of it for us. Great Job! a very happy customer.

I am a professional business analyst. I do considerable research before I purchase products and services. I selected and hired Generx who did everything they promised, on time, without any hidden fees or charges. They were well planned, perfectly scheduled with excellent follow through, always taking the time to explain every step of the installation process. We purchased a Generac 15KW generator with a smart switch on propane not natural gas. This is one of the best investments I ever made and I plan to stay with Generx for my service. The smart transfer switch and a dry cell battery make this totally automatic. It has already replaced my power twice and it was installed 3 weeks ago. Almost did not know my power had even failed. You will love these guys.

I worked with Mike H in exploring generator options and other services I could get done at the same time. I had to work with the gas company to put in a gas line which would have been a nightmare if not for Mike helping all along the way.Since I needed a gas line put in, I also asked for a tankless water heater and a gas line for a dryer. Mike organized everything, kept me updated every single step of the way, asked me frequently how I thought things were going. I am just blown away by how professional every person I came in contact with was.I strongly recommend Generx, they were less expensive than others, prompt, professional, respectful, helpful and made what could have been a stressful experience, anxiety free. I have used Generex for purchasing and installing 3 stand by generators over the last 6 years. If you want to use this dealer allow a real long lead time for the installation. I placed my order Mar 16,2013 and as of May 29,2013 the unit though installed has not been placed in service. They never call or email to explain the delay.I know 6 weeks lead is normal for an install but over 10 weeks and still incomplete seems beyond reasonable.I hope their service after the unit is finally fired up is better than this.

There aren't enough words to express my appreciation of the Generx personnel. The young man, Alex, called, made an appointment, called to confirm, reassured me he would do whatever was necessary to get my brand new generator diagnosed and in working order. He was on time, polite, informative explaining exactly what was going on and what I could expect. He did discover the problem in the initial installation and because of the difficulties I've already had dealing alone with the electrician and gas installer he offered to coordinate a qualified gas man to correct the problem for me. As an older person having a knowledgeable person to handle these individual workers and keep me informed gives me such a sense of security and relief. The fact that Generx wasn't even involved with the install but put themselve out to this extent to come to my rescue is worth so much to my peace of mind!! Use a qualified installer,don't take a chance, Generx may not be able to help everyone that gets themselves in a jam I can only be thankful that I was so fortunate they could help me.

We recently moved to the area and one of the very first things we did was have a whole home generator installed. This turned out to be one of many projects on our new home where contractors were involved. I wish all the other folks we have been dealing with were as professional, timely, honest, and provided the level of service Mark and Generx have. Everyone I have dealt with there are first class, a true model for every other contractor, tradesman, or service industry professional. Our installation was a very complicated one. Needed to have an elevated platform built for our home that needed to match the rest of the house. NO PROBLEM. Of course we wanted the generator put on the opposite side of the house from the panels, which required a significant amount of cable to run under ground, under a driveway and landscaping. NO PROBLEM. Every single thing I thought was going to be a big deal was answered with NO PROBLEM. The coolest part was, it was delivered with NO PROBLEM. I don't typically write reviews even for decent work. Generx is so good that it's my pleasure to write this review.

I have a very solid frame on which the Generator stands, attached to the house, unobtrusive!One of the AC circuit breakers tripped twice of an AC that was not hooked up to the Generator.... Twice the electrician came to sort it, with a smile in a storm and no charge even though I offered to pay the second time. The problem was not Generx's, it was a loose wire in the AC unit, which the AC men fixed the same day. All has been well since.

We are happy with this company and would recommend it to our friends.

Our Condominium Association was looking for a replacement Generator that would not break the bank but that would serve our needs. This was the only Company that actually came out and met with the Board of Directors at the Condominium to answer questions. All the others just mailed a quote and did not even follow up to try to get the business. Mark and his staff were always professional and responsive to our needs. Quick, clean installation. Would highly recommend .

We bought the generator from Mark and Generx because of their knowledge and ability but mostly because they promised real 24/7 service. Suzanne and Mark said if I had a problem at 2AM, I could call and Mark would answer the phone. We called at 7AM because one of our breakers kept blowing and our living room and entertainment center wouldn\u2019t work. Mark was here at about 8:30AM in Apollo Beach and found a switch inside the house the cause and not at all the generator. We tried to give him a tip for the service but he wouldn\u2019t accept it and just smiled and left.I find it very refreshing for an owner of a company to just answer the phone when we need it but to drive out himself for service calls on a Sunday is extraordinary.This is who anyone should call for a generator!
