GENERATOR SUPERCENTER OF AUSTIN

Our generator stopped passing its weekly exercise over two months ago. We immediately left a message with the service department. No response. We left 3 more messages over a one month period. They have never, ever called us back. We have finally given up and called another service company.

I bought the generator in May/June of 2021, it did not get installed until August 2022.Austin Store started the project and after several delays and miscommunications they turned the project over to the San Antonio store.The project continued to be delayed and was plagued by numerous mistakes and lack of follow up.Now I called the San Antonio store because the generator no longer does the weekly test run. They told me to call Austin and when I called Austin they told me to call San Antonio.I cannot belief that it is so hard to get any basic service.Customer service and maintaining good customer relations are the cornerstones of Generac.Both of these stores do not represent Generac well.They should no longer be allowed to sell and service Generac.

The generator install, after I was notified it was ready was at least 4+ months. The plumber who ran the gas line promised they would leave my house immaculate. They forgot to mention that would be after I found someone to repair the large holes in my walls they left. I complained to Generac without result. I'm still looking for a local contractor for the repairs. I'm figure it'll cost at least another $200+. Be sure to add that into your expected cost when dealing with this company.

Everyone has been helpful and answered my questions. The coaching made it easy. They coordinated all of the work and told us what to do at every step through the process. Thank you. As seniors, we are very grateful and relieved to have a our 24kw generator with all of the storms and power grid problems.

Eddie did a great job of explaining the set-up, operating and maintenance procedures for the generator! I had read both user manuals ahead of our meeting and downloaded/installed the MLG app, which made his overview easier to understand and helped ensure that all of my questions got answered.

It took me a year to finally get my backup generator. But the Super Generator Center in Austin already did it best as it can. It provided high quality work on my project and worked well to fit in my budget. Thanks

From the woman (call her M) that first answered the phone, to the technician (call him E) who came out to do the repair, all went as you could only wish for. M was polite and as helpful as she could be. She explained what the charges would be, and why. She continued to call to ensure I knew exactly what was going on and when E would be able to show up. When E came, he introduced himself and explained all of what he was doing and why. He identified what he believed to be the problem (I was not so sure about that), but making sure I was ok with him replacing the very inexpensive part. I said fine and he had been dead on. Perfect call in every regard.

Professional install. Straightforward and efficient. Fired right up and did exactly what it needs to do!

Called Generator Supercenter to fix my generator. Eddie, the tech, let me know all the problems and informed me who to call for some issues with the propane line installation. Their maintenance program is very affordable. Glad I called them!!

Eddy was awesome. With his great personality and muscular thighs and devious smile he swiftly helped me get connected. Im glad he double checked to make sure we didnt have a short while taking a the time to take a look-see to make sure my wires were hot. And they definately were. I contacted this dealer thru a Costco referral. I contacted them and they schedule a visit for two and a half months out because they were really busy. Day of the appointment nobody showed up. I contacted them and sent me a rep next day. The rep came, took measurements, pictures and after another month they never sent a job proposal or quote.Don't waste time contacting this company. They are not profesional.

Generator Supercenter has been outstanding. They took on 'turn-key' installation of a 38kw standby generator, meeting and exceeding all commitments, including i) earlier-than-estimated generator arrival from the manufacturer, Generac, ii) concrete pad construction through an asphalt-paved area, iii) careful placement of the generator on the concrete pad, using a boom truck constrained by tight access, iv) provision of a 500 gallon propane tank (removing a smaller tank) with a wireless fuel monitor, v) trenching 100' of buried propane line through mostly solid rock and the asphalt paved area, vi) installation of the transfer switch and replacement of the main electrical breaker on the service pole, and vii) test running the generator and restoring the buried line trenches, including the trenched asphalt. After more than 6 calls, many leading to promises a rep would call me, the rep finally did. Then he said he was out of town and would call me back. He didn't so I called him. We got on the schedule. An hour before he was due to arrive he called to say it was raining on his side part of town (25 miles from me) and asked it was raining here. It wasn't (and it didn't). He said he was cancelling because he needed to "deal with electricity" i.e., open our fuse box. I asked him to have the owner call me; he said he would. But of course he never did (now 30 days later).

Called and left voicemail and email to get my generac iq3500 serviced after the lcd screen broke within 10 hours of use. no response. called again 5 days later and no one picks up.
