I am so impressed with the installation of my Generac generator from Generator One! The team doing the install were just tremendous in every respect - attention to detail, careful, 'no shoes' coming in and out of our house, and great instruction for operation and things we need to know. My generator was working until they came for the annual checkup. It was turned off and I had to wait weeks for a new motor. When the new motor was being installed the fan was broken. Now I have to wait another week for it to be delivered and who knows when it will be installed. No piece of mind here!

Mike and the entire team were very knowledgeable. My install was rather challenging with gas on one side of my house and the electric on the other. No basement so Matt had to crawl around in the rafters all day (I'm not even sure how he got to where he needed to go, but he did!). Passed all inspections with no problem and everything works perfectly. Mike even followed up with the utility folks that were difficult to wrangle.

We have been very happy with our generator, and the excellent service we received from the Generator One team. The Generator One team in Mentor, Ohio sent someone out right away to evaluate an older generator unit that had seen the end of its life, presented us with detailed options for major repairs or replacement with a new unit, and then installed the new unit in a matter of days based on our emergency situation. Great guys. Easy to talk with and very honest and trustworthy. The definitely know their job and perform all tasks while keeping you abreast of what's going on. I would certainly recommend them for quality of work and price charged.

Absolutely terrible company. We called them because our generator wouldn't turn off, they sent someone out that didn't know what he was doing so they sent someone else. He fixed the problem, but the next day we smell gas in our front yard. We called them out again and the gas company and they said the regulator was leaking. Now we replaced the regulator last year because it was making chirping noises, the odds of a BRAND NEW regulator breaking the day after work was done on the generator 2 ft away are astronomical. The guy must of knocked into it or something but wouldn't admit to it. Anyway, I have no proof of that so there's nothing I could really do. So I get the bill today and they charged me $220 even though they never said anything about the charge when we called them! If I had known I would have waited for the gas company. I called them to complain and the lady had the audacity to say they should have charged $120 MORE since they sent 2 people out on friday even though the first guy didn't know what he was doing!!! NEVER use this company they are the worst contractors I have ever dealt with!

John, my service man arrived exactly on time and was ready to answer my questions and get to work. my questions were based on my over fifty years of electro / electronic work which he handled just fine. Jason and Charlie arrived "early" which hardly EVER happens, they were friendly and very courteous regarding our home. Started around 9 a.m. and left by 12:15 p.m. - Very fast, and did nice work! Left everything so nice before they left! They did expert work and this whole experience was great and painless! I thought it would be an all day thing, and it was just over 3 hours. They explained everything to me and I feel very comfortable with what they said. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. We were given their names from a long-time friend who had one installed and they were/are VERY happy with them as well. Thanks Shepp Electric for a fine job! Now I can relax and not worry about the sump pump anymore! :)

I had my generator installed today. YGC was recommended by the HVAC guy who has serviced our units for over 20 years. He is a YGC customer. Rusty, the owner, promptly came out, inspected our equipment, evaluated our requirements, and made a proposal. We liked what we heard and accepted his proposal. The gas company came out and upgraded our meter within two weeks, and YGC came out less than a month later and did the install. Mike the Manager and Chris did a professional job without apparent complication on a cold and snowy day. Everything checked out, and we hope and anticipate that if we need the system, it will work as intended. The experience to date has been excellent.

mike and chris did the initial installation and were as good as it gets. there was one part out of stock at the time, but it came in on schedule. one week later, Nathan and craig installed that part and tested the entire system. everything worked great. I would recommend this organization to anyone. my only caveat is that we have not had a power failure since it was installed - so I cant comment on the unit itself.

Then through word of mouth I was give the information to YGC (I wish I would of been sent to this company originally) I got a great generator at a fantastic price and was able to even go a bit bigger. We wanted backup power at our new home, just being finished now. But the installation process occurs at several points in this case. The builder really wanted to handle this, but their electrician and generator bid was way high, I researched units out there, and installation/maintenance contractors myself. We selected Generator Connection because they had the best price, and the reviews I saw were also very good. So the transfer switch went in very early on; later the gas line issues and finally this week there was grade cleared adjacent to the house so the unit itself could be set. Very pleased with a clean neatly piped, wired unit with holes thru the walls well sealed too. Carefully went through how to operate it, but really there is little you need to do. Great job, I'm very pleased.

Was amazed that they installed my 16KW generator this past Tuesday with temperatures in the low to mid teens. The installation crew were all experts in their field. I was amazed to hear that before they left they had my entire house running on generator power without me even realizing the transfer. The generac generator was extremely quiet.

Over the last 9 years here in our home, we have lost power quite often. Now with small children and pets, it has been getting more and more difficult (and annoying) to have to pack quickly and find a relative's house to go crash at - Hurricane Sandy pushed me to the edge, with no power for days. I wish to compliment the \u201cYour Generator Connection\u201d installation team that installed my generator on the first of October 2014. Two gentlemen, Josh and Jason, appeared with their truck at 9 am on the agreed upon day and started the installation. They both went to different parts of the installation \u2013 one to create the foundation for the generator and dig the trench for the lines and the other to run the gas line and set up for the inside electrics. They both approached the effort in a most quiet professional manner knowing the requirements and sequence of the work. Throughout the day, they both worked as a team both separately and together ending after about 9 hours. The work included installing an extention to the gas line, a power and control conduit and cable, generator and foundation, new transfer box and also a new distribution box (an addition requested by the owner to increase the number of available breakers). The new box required transferring all of the house circuits to the new box and then labeling where the circuits went. Although I didn\u2019t think it was necessary as part of the job and suggested it was ok as it was, they told me it was part of their job and it needed to be done.All work was done in a professional manner (e.g. \u2013 leveling of the generator was precise, the gas line extension and power lines were straight and secured to the outside of the house, the buried portion was covered properly and the existing stone used to make it look proper, the wires inside the boxes were dressed neatly, and the area was cleaned up completely, both inside and outside the house . Having experienced, much to often, sloppy, lacksidaisical low quality work, to say that I was impressed with this team is to understate my appreciation of their workmanship and attitude towards the job and the customer.

We recently had a 22Kw generator installed and the crew that showed up was punctual, polite, and professional. The install took about 5 hours and power was only out for fraction of that time window. The crew cleaned up after they were done and an explanation was provided on how to service and use the equipment.

To set the stage, my home is 2.5 hours South of this dealers business location. My home is in the country and on the average we used to lose our power 15-20 times per year.
