This dealer was able to quickly answer all of my questions on the phone and promptly followed up via e-mail with more info. The dealer managed the installation process from start to end which made it quick and easy.

CMD installed our generator in a professional and timely manner, they answered our questions and were friendly. We would recommend this company to others.

Agree with other reviewers that the customer focus at the service desk is lax, but once past that and in direct contact with the generator manager, the experience gets better, at least for purchase and installation. The home assessment, product recommendations, installation, and activation were all very professional and well done. The recommended contractors for electrical and propane connections were friendly and courteous, and the jobs clean and neat. Hopefully, I won't need to review warranty or service calls anytime soon.

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with for anything. I am seriously considering a new Generac generator but I will not allow my electrician to buy it from them. Generac must investigate because they are giving the company a bad name.

Warranty issue with new generator. They said " we do not know when we will get to it" , after they asked if I bought it there.

Went in to speak with them about a generator. The gentleman behind the counter finally acknowledged us after about ten minutes (although the chocolate lab greeted us immediately). All he said was I don't do the generators, the man in that office does but he's not here yet (8:30am). Finally after about another 20 minutes he stated the person has arrived and is out back and should be up shortly. Another 10-15 minutes passed and finally a gentleman showed up, went into the office and proceeded to totally ignore us and the other 4 people who were now waiting. He never even looked at us, came out of the office twice and walked right by everybody. After about 20 more minutes we had had enough and left. Three others left before us. I don't know if the one person that stayed ever got any help. This is the absolute worst service I have ever had in my entire life. If they act this way when you are looking to buy something I can't imagine how bad it would be after the sale! Looking for another Generac dealer, hopefully with much better results.

Called for assistance with generator. They said hello, I said "Do you service Generac generators?" Their response was, "If we sold it to you." Despite this remark the man did ask what he could do. I told him my problem (elevated carbon monoxide emissions - enough that it set off the CO detectors in our home) and clarified that to the best of my knowlege it was installed outside according to the specifications/regulations and that it was not near a window and was ~10feet from a door. He told me it probably wasn't the generator and I (calmly) told him that the fire department measured the levels of CO and it was highest at the generator. He replied that doesn't make sense -- I laughed and said, "That's what I have been told, but I'm just telling what I know." His response, "Good luck with that." He then proceeded to hang up. I understand feeling overwhelmed (several power outages in the area) but that kind of response seems inappropriate. I could understand if he said, "we are swamped and we won't be able to get to it for awhile," but an unwillingness to help seems completely unacceptable.
