Christmas miracle

Dan and his crew are awesome coastside Generac specialists. Before I found Charles electric, the nearest Generac installer/servicer who was willing to come to the coast was based out of the North Bay (urgent needs could never be met). It's been a dream to work with a local crew. Most recently, I reached out to Dan last minute to service our generator. With the storm coming, he made it happen ASAP. Sure enough, our power went out, the generator kicked on and it ran for 2 days straight. On Dec. 25 Dan happened to be on our street (helping CCWD with their generator) and he offered to change our oil since our generator had been running nonstop. We weren't the only customers that were helped on Christmas. Dan really goes out of his way to help--rain or shine and even on a holiday!

We have used Dan for years and he always offers reliable fast service. He also has done a really great job educating me on the generator itself. I know based on what I've learned I could do some of the regular maintenance myself, but prefer to leave this to the experts. I find he is very honest and transparent in his evaluation and pricing. I don't plan on using anyone else for my generator needs. Highly recommend. Thank you

Great service

You won't find better customer service. Dan stands by his work and went the extra mile at every step of the process. We were deciding between a battery and a generator and ultimately it came down to knowing we'd have Dan to help us out for the life of the generator.

Excellent service

We recently purchased a Generac 24 KW generator from Charles Electric, and they installed it yesterday. We found Dan Charles to be very personable, knowledgeable, and customer-oriented. He had to wait a few days before he could pick up the new generator, and kept us informed of the status every day. While they were doing the installation, Dan kept us in the loop and solicited our input for key installation questions to make sure we were happy with the result. Dan's team of installers communicated and worked well together, were very efficient and professional, did first-rate work, went the extra mile, did the installation in less than one day, and even finished a bit earlier than I expected. With all of this, Dan's price was very competitive. We couldn't have been more pleased, would definitely hire him again, and recommend him highly.

Wonderful

Last week the power went out and our generator ran and ran in the heat, but unfortunately something was compromised and the generator stopped working. We bought the house. We never knew anything about servicing a generator. Ann and his team came out and showed us how to use our generator and more importantly how to service it on those long extended outages. I highly recommend Charles electric .

We recently had the great good fortune to contract with Charles Electric to install our whole-house, Generac 22K watt generator. From start to finish, we could not have been more pleased with the process. Dan Charles is an incredibly nice, personable and hard-working individual, and his team of installers reflect these qualities. Dan checked in with us the evening prior to the installation regarding their ETA the next day. He texted us that next morning to confirm the ETA (no change) and then again when they were five minutes away. Once on-site, Dan introduced us to all of the team members, then they set off to work. And work they did, like a well-oiled machine! Honestly, we were a bit leery of Dan's estimate of a one-day installation, but he and his team proved us wrong, with time to spare. They also had time to remedy a non-generator, storm-damage electrical issue at no additional charge! In addition to the first-class installation process, Dan's price-point could not be beat. As consumers, there is nothing better than purchasing a top quality product at a very favorable price, followed by a top-notch installation process. We highly recommend Dan Charles Electric without hesitation.

Dan, and Matt from Charles Electric are incredible. They set up a portable generator and now we can have back up power to run the entire house including my breathing machine. I was in a bad accident and I can’t tell you how much this back up power means to us thank you Matt and Dan. #Gratitude

Kind and knowledgeable

Dan and his team did a great job. Dan fixed our transfer switch. He was fair and knowledgeable and communicated. Even though he’d been moving for the last two weeks he still found a way to get somebody out to see us and take care of us. Thanks Dan we love our back up power system.
